Never Let Me Go introduced an important topic and centred all of the ideas around it, which is donations and vital organs harvesting from innocent people as the clones in Hailsham. The novel played a master role to show how the society can use people for a terrible purpose as stealing their organs and at the same time show the world that this process is for the good of patients after the English war. “I won’t be a carer anymore come the end of the year and though i've got a lot out of it, i hate to admit it i’ll welcome the chance to rest.” (Ishiguro. 37). Kathy H. the narrator of the novel explains that her carer days are about to end and that she is ready for the next big step in her life, which is donations. Kathy admitted that she had many merits of being a carer because she was able to see her friends from Hailsham like Tommy and Ruth that reminded her of her childhood and memories. …show more content…

It also emphasizes that the society is more powerful and was able to control all of the students of Hailsham. the idea of class struggle is presented in this quote from a Marxist theory perspective because the clones accepted their fate and accepted donation and completing as resting from life. The bourgeoisie mastered the clones and manipulated them that they are made for a purpose, so the students did not argue it. Organ donations are made for saving lives, but it also can lead to the death of an innocent soul. This process is surrounded with many medical, legal and religious issues that attack the idea and want to stop it completely.
