" Network Neutrality should not be banned
“On December 14, 2017, the Trump FCC voted to make the open internet and the network neutrality principles that sustain it a thing of the past.†Network neutrality should not be banned because we keep losing freedom. Network neutrality should also not be banned because we do not benefit from it .Finally network neutrality should not be banned because the government can use censorship instead of network neutrality.
We as people keep losing more and more freedom. ¨During the state of the union youtube follow-up interview on February 1, 2010 president Obama again expressed commitment to Net Neutrality ¨ protecting a free internet protects are free speech.¨ Over the years the country that was once known as the land of the free has become the complete opposite. Men and women in war are fighting for our freedom but the government keeps restricting use of freedom more and more everyday so why have people in war die for our freedom if we truly aren't getting freedom. Also people from other countries around the world go through a bunch of paperwork to get into the united states to be free because the country that they live in isn't free but the united states is becoming not free and these people are just getting put into another

¨ The government will get more revenue by letting their customers use services from competing service producers.¨ First the government takes away are freedom and now they benefit for doing so. If only the government benefits from banning network neutrality then why are we banning it. People should be able to keep all of the social medias and other websites they have without worrying about the government taking it away from them. The people in the government already have more benefits the normal citizens so why would they need to take more freedom away from us to gain more
I feel inspired and patriotic every time I see a car’s back bumper sticker featuring an American flag stating, “Freedom Isn’t Free!” The moral clarity of those words rings as true as the Liberty Bell. Those Americans that do not fathom the significance of the motto Freedom Isn’t Free suffer from the very problematic “victim/slave mentality,” which ultimately will become a future reality should more citizens not heed the simple message the sage language conveys. Yes it indeed bears repeating, “Freedom Is Not Free!” Its acquisition from King George’s England involved struggle, its maintenance throughout the first two and a quarter centuries of our Great Republic required sacrifice and its continuation demands perseverance. Wise people fully realize that struggle, sacrifice and perseverance are the vital characteristics of freedom, democracy and independence.
The subject of freedom often is the forefront of discussion when examining any sort of politics or government. The two basic sides include those for more freedom, and those
...ng principles. It is an implementation of the Internet’s freedom. Moreover, net neutrality regulates service providers, not the internet. The regulation of network neutrality would propose a positive induction in the aspect of internet freedom (Weitzner 22). The main concept of regulation is the underlying basis of the net neutrality debate. It would provide a positive impact to all parties, if implemented.
America is one word that brings the hope of freedom to many people around the world. Since the United States’ humble beginnings freedom has remained at the core of its ideologies and philosophies. People of all races, nations, and tongues have found refuge in America. The National Anthem proclaims, “…land of the free, and home of the brave” (Key, 1814). But has America been consistently a land of the free? Unfortunately freedom has not always reigned. There is a constant struggle to overcome fear and prejudice in order to provide a true land of freedom. In times of heightened tension, the masses of common people seek to find a scapegoat. Often, this scapegoat is a minority with ties to current negative events. As fear uncontrollably grows, it can cause people to allow and commit unspeakable atrocities.
There have been major achievements in history to make our world free without question. We, the American people, have strived for centuries to keep America free. We fought the British to be free and create a beautiful country. We fought for the freeing of the slaves in the Civil War and the Nazis in World War Two, who were trying to impose a fascist government rule on Germany and the world - the exact opposite of freedom.
It is evident through the everyday killings, the people being locked up due to non-violent crimes and how most people aren’t happy with their current lifestyle. Today, teens are getting abortions left and right because they lay around, get pregnant, then figure they can just get rid of the baby. Teens are shooting each other because they live five blocks from each other. Yet, there are some people who start groups to give respect to life and try to help others gain that same respect. Then the matter of liberty comes up; we believe that we are free, but the reality of it is that we are in the shackles of the government.
Freedom remains the sole basis for American society as we know it. Without freedom the great nation of America would have never been founded. To understand the true principles of freedom, one must understand the scope of the word. Philosophical freedom encompasses the ability to make choices without restraints, while political freedom is the state of being free rather than in physical confinement. Despite the importance of these ideas to our founding fathers, freedom has lost much of its importance in modern American society. The failure to stress the importance of freedom has diminished the quality of life for the entire American populous
Although we proclaim ourselves as a free country, our government constantly tries to increase the power and authority it holds over us. Our government tries to control almost every aspect of our lives by telling people whom they can or cannot marry, why or even if you can divorce your spouse. The government tries to tell us that it is against the law to do things that we enjoy or things ...
Since the mid 1900’s are rights have been stepped on and laws passed so congressmen can get more rich, and we’re told it for are own good and not to question. The U.S. has more people incarcerated than any other country and we’re told we’re free. Congress doesn’t understand us. For example alcohol kills thousands of people a year in car wrecks, yet in other countries you can drink almost at any age, but little alcohol related deaths.
Most countries in the world do not have the same freedom that America has. Two hundred and forty one years ago, when the Declaration of Independence was signed and adopted, so was a new, free country. Since
American freedom has always been different from the freedoms of other countries. Our freedoms are awesome in their possibilities. The Constitution allows for endless opportunity in changing times, yet preserves the most delicate of all rights. Early Americans were foreigners who appreciated the choices they had been given, choices including immigration, religion, speech, and suffrage. There are alternatives to what we know in America as freedom, but throughout the history of the world, none has come close to creating and maintaining a country of satisfied individuals.
The government is gaining too much power. The three reasons are because of George Bush’s police action, how they can control our individualized lives, and how the government can overwrite an amendment to the constitution in the bill of rights.
Most of the Internet regulation is imposed by the Government in an effort to protect the best interest of the general public and is concerned with some form of censorship.
Internet is a powerful tool that allows users to collaborate and interact with others all over the world conveniently and relatively safely. It has allowed education and trade to be accessed easily and quickly, but all these benefits do not come without very taxing costs. This is especially true when dealing with the likes of the Internet. Countries in the European Union and Asia have realized this and have taken action against the threat of net neutrality to protect their citizens, even at the cost of online privacy. Internet censorship is required to protect us from our opinions and vices. Every country should adopt Internet censorship and regulation since it improves society by reducing pornography, racism/prejudice, and online identity theft.
What would you do without freedom? Too many people in America take the greatest thing we have in our country for granted. Not a lot of people realize how great they have it compared to other countries in the world. I couldn’t imagine from the time I was born having someone already have my life picked out for me, or work at the same job for 40 years knowing you can never move up from the position you started at, and the worst thing is you never even chose that job.
