Propaganda is a form of communication, a way to influence on the attitude of a community toward some position or cause. The propaganda in its origins was neutral; nevertheless, it had been used to manipulate. For this reason, the propaganda also can be defined as information that is deliberately expressed in order to harm or hurt a person. The deliberate spreading of such information lead to persuasion, persuading to do things that are not the regular scheme of a person which may result affected because habitually someone searches to benefit which is the person in charge of everything, the head master. “Propaganda is communication for the purpose of persuasion”. The perfect example of persuading the people in order to hurt others is the negative propaganda used in World War II. The propagandist Joseph Goebbels, claimed that propaganda should be as accurate as possible, but at what price?
The media played a key role during the war though the propaganda’s minister. Germany educated its citizens to make them believe in the existence of a so-called master race. We consider that the worst part was not to believe this superiority, but the fact that people believed that this was the reality. Because of the propaganda and the fortress of it, citizens couldn't notice the great lies behind it. In addition, Germans believing the lies that media said started thinking that the Jews, Romani, homosexuals and Bolsheviks people around them as theirs friends, neighbors, co-workers, doctors were, since the begging of the war, their enemies. Joseph Goebbels, Nazi propagandist, was able to convince Germans that Germany was justified in the invasion of Poland, France and all other different countries, all this due to the propaganda used to demon...

Heck’s admissions of his experience with the Hitler Youth lend the autobiography a unique perspective. “All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach,” Adolf Hitler (The National World War Museum). The German Nazi dictator utilized his power over the people using propaganda, eventually creating a sense of hatred towards Jews. After World War 1, the punishments of the League of Nations caused Germany to suffer. The Nazi party came to blame the Jews in order to have a nation-wide “scapegoat”. This hatred and prejudice towards Jews is known as anti-semitism. According to the Breman Museum, “the Nazi Party was one of the first political movements to take full advantage of mass communications technologies: radio, recorded sound, film, and the printed word” (The Breman Museum). By publishing books, releasing movies and holding campaigns against Jews, antisemitism came to grow quickly, spreading all across Germany. The Nazi Party often referred to the notion of a “People’s Community” where all of Germany was “racially pure” (Issuu). They would show images of ‘pure’, blond workers, labouring to build a new society. This appealed greatly to people who were demoralized during Germany’s defeat in World War 1 and the economic depression of the 1920’s and 1930’s. Hitler, along with Joseph Goebbels, used developed propaganda methods in order to suppress the Jews and spread anti semitism.
Propaganda is information that is biased to promote one point of view. Propaganda is mostly used during political campaigns. It is one of the most widely used and effective political tactics. It gives its user the opportunity to move people to action in both positive and negative ways, by either bringing fame or shame to a selected person or idea. Propaganda is used to sell a candidate or a belief to the public, by ruining the opponent’s chances of winning, or by falsely advertising an idea of their own as better than one of their opponents.

The world stood by in fear and awe, hoping the storm would just blow over, but by September 1939 Hitler and the Nazi's had progressed too far, and there was no stopping them from undertaking in what would be the most lethal war in the history of the world.
Goebbels - who was a master of propaganda that used all means at his disposal to perpetuate the Hitler myth and propagate Nazi values. The Ministry's aim was to eliminate all original thought and ensure that the Nazi message was successfully communicated through the widest variety of forms of communication available. Propaganda was used to promote the ideological goals of the Nazi regime, convert passive acceptance of Nazi rule into active support, stress the need for 'lebensraum' and the overturning of the Treaty of Versailles. In addition to these aims, propaganda was also intended to conjure beliefs of Aryan supremacy, the Jewish menace and communist danger. Propaganda became a key element in welding together the political attitudes of the nation.
The base of all propaganda is to shape the information in such a manner that it manipulates the viewers into believing what the propaganda wants them to believe. Its persuasive techniques are regularly applied in day-to-day life by politicians, advertisers, journalists, and others who are interested in influencing human behavior. Since propaganda is used with misleading information, it can be concluded that it is not a fairly used tool in the society.
Propaganda is the art of persuasion, and it had a major influence on WWII. Every country involved in the war had their own way of using propaganda to impact the public in different ways. Some countries were more forceful in presenting their propaganda to their country. Many types of propaganda were used in WWII. Books, radio, films, comic strips, and posters were directed towards the public to put them in a certain mind set about war. Every countries propaganda had different effects on the public. Nazi Germany’s use of propaganda had a greater impact on the public compared to Canada, USA, and Britain’s propaganda.

Bush and Dick Cheney used primarily every sort of propaganda to influence the citizens; therefore, our national society needs to develop awareness in the propaganda used by such politicians so that they can make wise decisions intelligently.
