I have lived in the home I reside in now for the past twenty seven years. I have always known that having insurance coverage on your home and property was a great necessity. When we first purchased our home we went to our local insurance agency in Gleason, TN and took out homeowners insurance. With us being young we just took out the amount that just covered the dwelling only. We had no idea this was not enough coverage and thankfully nothing happened during that time period. We eventually learned by researching and talking to others that we would suffer a great loss if our home was ever destroyed by fire or any other event. We took inventory and added an extensive amount of coverage to cover any loss and we would be able to recover our losses. …show more content…
While at work someone mentioned a different insurance company and I called and got a quote and was shocked that I could get more coverage for half the cost per month. I immediately changed car insurance and I am very satisfied with this company. It really does pay to research and see what other companies offer. Sometimes we are so familiar with our current insurance providers; we do not want to make a change. Overall, the insurance coverages I have are exactly what my family needs. I don’t think we are over covered and whether it be home, car or health insurance we are fully satisfied. At this point and time we plan on keeping our current insurance carriers because we have good plans and coverages. Our life insurance policies are acceptable and our children would be able to survive one could say if that insurance was needed. Life insurance is one thing most people try to avoid because of the very reason of the policy, but once again as you start getting older you tend to become more aware of the need for such insurance. The costs of burials are not cheap and the very burden that a family member would have to deal with due to the circumstance would be overwhelming if they were left to finance a funeral. My mother actually had to do this very thing when my father passed away twenty years ago, she had no life insurance for my father and she worked out a payment plan to pay for the funeral. It took her a few years but she paid every dollar off. I do not want this burden for any of my family
The process of choosing a health insurance provider should have been more consumer friendly. People
As of 2008, 46 Million residents (15% of the population) were uninsured and 60% of residents had coverage from private insurers. 55% of those covered by private insurers received it through their employer and 5% paid for it directly. Federal programs covered 24% of Americans; 13% under Medicare and 10% under Medicaid. Squires, 2010. With implementation of healthcare reform, steps are being taken over the next several years to insure all American’s.
If you are looking for a new house, you have probably heard the terms PMI mortgage insurance and homeowner tax deductions, among a plethora of other terminology you don 't normally come across unless you are ready to buy a home. Real estate is extremely complex and not having at least the basic knowledge of the process could ultimately cost you dearly. Therefore, we are going to explain to you what the term PMI means and why you should care. Then we are going
There are several issues concerning the uninsured and underinsured patient population in America. There are many areas of concern the congressional efforts to increase the availability of health insurance, the public image of the insurance industry illustrated by the movie "John Q", the lack of good management tools, and creating health insurance coverage for all low income Americans. Since the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 43 million from 37 million in the flourishing 1990s and could shoot up even more severely if the economy continues to decrease and health care premiums keep increasing (Insurance No Simple Fix, 2001).
There are places where patients receive Euthanasia, and although the people in the vegetative state cannot see, the peace is something that you don’t need to see to feel it. Also, Euthanasia will save money to the family, as reported by The New York State Department of Health, “Under any new system of health care delivery, as at present, it will be far less costly to give a lethal injection than to care for a patient throughout the dying process." Besides, there is no reason to keep a person alive if there is not a possibility of recover it would only affect the economy. As stated by the Medical Billing Advocates of America, “as many people have seen, the final cost associated with life support can be an enormous burden once that loved one has passed away.” Contrasting the cost of Euthanasia with the cost of keeping someone alive, the results show a considerable difference of spend that if possible should be avoided. Nevertheless, there are cases where it is worthy to spend all this money, for example, if there is hope of a recovery, the family will never consider any amount of money too much for a second chance in their relative
“Hot off the press! Get your guide on what not to do when purchasing a home.” I wish I had a guide like this one before I purchased my second home. I had warning signs all around me that I chose to ignore. The only thing I knew for sure is I wanted a four bedroom two car garage and I was going to get it anyway possible. Later I received a crash course on the grueling process of going through a short sale and all the stress it puts on your relationship. Though losing this home, I learned not to take on more than I can handle. This is important because it can put a lot of pressure on your marriage, family and you.
Insurance companies exist to make money. They are not concerned with your needs which include great coverage at an affordable price. Their agenda consists of offering superfluous offers, causing you as a customer to lose money on frivolous items that won’t ever benefit you.
Outrageous insurance is understandable because of the distrust of today's society. Insurance companies are a parachute to catch you when something bad happens, so you do not fall into deep debt. Like
The price that the government has to pay for the paperwork and bury the body makes the difference between a wounded body and a dead body. Plus, if the authorities find the family of the dead man, they have to send the body to his original country. It is why they do not want to bring more bodies to the morgue, and they prefer to treat people as animals. Now it is understandable why a lot of families never receive information about their relatives.
Healthcare is expensive, even for the wealthy. Having insurance protects you from being poorer. Most incidences are not meant to happen but most times, people cant help it. Consumers think of health insurance that way. The unpredictability, the large impact and the infrequency encourages consumers to purchase health insurance. Moreover, medical bills is the prime cause of bankruptcies.
Some of the patients that will consider this method are terminal. That includes cancer and dementia along with other illnesses. These patients are very ill and have weighed out all other options. Some may think that that this method is selfish for the family members but what would that family really be going through if that said patient did not do the physician-assisted suicide? Families would be watching their loved one waste away in a hospital bed with a huge hospital bill to pay
From the perspective of financial concerns, providing the right to die to terminally ill children could discontinue the meaningless medical treatments (because the death is almost destined), save great amount of medical and financial resources, and alleviate the emotional and financial burdens of parents (including other family members) as well as health insurance companies (so they could help other people).
If you ask anyone what home means to them more than likely you’ll get several different opinions. In my case home has never been a specific place it’s always been wherever my mom was! My Mother and I have been moving from place to place ever since I could remember.
During the time of death, families would be faced with the challenge of paying for the funeral. An easy option for family members during this time is, indeed, donating the organs of their deceased family member in order to receive compensation. This option seems entirely logical; however, the most important person in this scenario is the one lying in the hospital
I want to buy a house for my family in the earlier stages of my career, partly pay college tuition for my younger siblings and pay for my master’s degree; budgeting will play an important role to help me manage and save funds to achieve my personal goals. There’s only so much one can plan for and unfortunate events can happen to anyone, so having an insurance coverage is imperative to cover for future losses. I would certainly consider buying homeowner’s insurance, automobile insurance and term-based life insurance and as far as health care is concerned it will covered under fringe benefits from my future
