When you are turning nine it’s pretty hard to wake up at six in the morning just to make a whole bunch of little cakes for my birthday party. I got to pick out all the cake flavors. We made a lot of chocolate, vanilla, and confetti cakes.
For a really long time we were just mixing the cake batters together. It was fun because I got to spend time with my mom more on that day than I did any other day. When my mom was mixing the cake batters I was putting butter on the pans so the cakes wouldn’t stick to the pan. Once we got all the cakes mixed and all the pans buttered we started the oven so it can get warmed up. While the oven was warming up we poured the cake batters into different pans, when the oven beeped we put twelve cakes into the oven and let them cook. While we were waiting for those twelve cakes to be done we started to mix colors in the frosting containers. We made the colors green, purple, red, pink, blue, orange, yellow, and like a teal type color.
