I can truly say that I’m consider a sport fanatic. I have a passion for a lot of sports such as basketball, football, and baseball. However, if I was to choose my favorite sport, it would be basketball. I love all aspects of basketball and have played in many games. My passion for basketball all started when I was a child. When I was six years old, my mother brought my first basketball. I knew it was a basketball, it wasn’t like all the other balls that I played with. My mother also brought me a basketball goal as well. My little brother and I started practicing basketball just about every day and every opportunity we got. We played before school, after school and on the weekends. Thought the years, I keep practicing my basketball techniques.

Basketball is a great sport for people that like to run because basketball involves running up and down the court.. Some people like basketball because they like the idea of the sport or the competition. Most people have something specific that they like about basketball. Shooting is the main part of basketball. If you don’t shoot, you don’t score and if you don’t score you lose, and nobody likes to lose. Shooting the ball is something that takes a extreme amount of time for it to become perfect. I’ve been playing basketball for over 10 years and I still don’t know how to shoot the perfect shot.

During my childhood I became a sports fanatic of two teams that are completely opposite. A sports fanatic is a person who loves sports as an entertainment outlet and is highly interested in one or more sports team. My favorite basketball team is the Miami Heat and we have witnessed recent success throughout the years. The Jacksonville Jaguars are my favorite football team and they can't seem to get anything right. Although both teams are in a different sport, winning and losing still feels the same to a fanatic.
I have throughout my whole life been playing sports. I still play basketball competitively and now it’s at the university level. Basketball though was not my first love when it came to playing sports. It has though become my true focus since junior high school. Coming from Canada everybody plays hockey. Its almost as if as soon as you learn to walk you learn how to skate. Whether it is at the recreation centre or at the shinny rink around the corner everyone plays. Eventually I abandoned hockey to play basketball which I have done so for the last twelve years of my life and hopefully a few more years into the future.
Ever since I was a little boy, about eight years old or so, I had an extreme passion for the sport of basketball. On weekends, I would wake up in the morning, eat a bowl of frosted flakes or cheerios, put on basketball shorts and then go in my driveway to shoot around. I would be out there for hours just shooting around or playing with some random kids that I would occasionally see walking around my neighborhood. This was satisfaction to me, but even better was playing on multiple public teams and not just playing in my driveway every day. In elementary school, I played in a recreational league, just like almost every other kid who tries out basketball when they were younger. This was fun and all but it was nothing too serious. There were never any practices, it was just one or two unorganized games per week. I never took
My three favorite sports are baseball, basketball, and football. My favorite sport of all and these three, is baseball. Playing the game I love is so much fun. I have been playing it since I can remember.
Cheerleading is a very important part of my life. Not only is it a great way to get physical activity, I can also be proud of my achievements and my improvements throughout the years that I have participated. My determination for improvement establishes a good example for the rest of the team to follow and I can assist the team in several ways. I am very dedicated to the team because of my passion for cheer. I always help the team in any way possible; I have not and will not give up on the team.

If you were to ask my friends what I love to do, my guess is that the majority of them would come up with this reply, "He loves to play sports". Sports are a big part of my life, and if I had to choose my favorite sport to play it would have to be basketball. I couldn't imagine going a week without being able to touch a basketball, and I thought I would never have to. But on one summer afternoon, that all changed when I broke my leg. It left me on crutches for two months, and not being able to play basketball all that summer. At first I thought it wouldn't be so bad, getting all the attention and sympathy from everyone. However, after one game I soon realized that I would do just about anything to get rid of those horrible crutches and get back on the court.

Basketball is my life and the focus of my dreams. Ever since my father introduced me to the sport, I have been passionate about it.
When I was about seven years old my dad wanted me to go out for basketball so I tried out, he is one of the most athletic people I know. Well ever since he had me go out for basketball I have been doing sports then when I want to give up when I can’t make that perfect lay up or when I can’t make that perfect over hand serve he will sit there and help me do it till I get it done and done right. My dad also taught me how to play half my spor...
I was the youngest on the team, and the only girl. Being the only girl didn’t bother me because the hard you practice the better you play. With 10 others on the team, my father’s focus couldn’t only be on me or my brother. My father knew that what is taught at a young age should stick for the future. With this knowledge, my dad started with the fundamentals that were significant. These basic skills consisted of dribbling, passing, and communication. Being so young our vocabulary was superb, but he made do with what he had. Since practice was only once a week, my father practiced with my brother, Brandon, and I outside for an extra couple hours to improve our
