It is almost the end of year so that I would like to take a moment that what kind of year it has been to me. I remember the begging of this year I was so excited to do new challenge. The end of 2016, I decided to do the internship related with New York Fashion Week. I know that fashion is not related to my major, Global Studies. The reasons why I decided to do was because I was thinking to change my major to Fashion major or take Fashion Communication as minors when I get into The New School. I was not sure that Global Studies would give me a lot of opportunities for jobs in the future. My first fashion week experiences in New York was just amazing. I met different type of people that I had never met. Everyone was so kind and funny. Also, I thought people would be mean to me because I did not look like fashion industry people. I was just a girl who liked to go shopping and wear all black. Therefore, I did not expect that I would ended up with new friends and having great memories even though it was the most busy two weeks that I had in my life. After that, my another new and the last semester at LaGuardia community college started from March. It was one of the tuff semester that I took at LaGuardia community college because I was taking so many classes. I wanted to get many credits before I was coming to ELS at The New School. My professor from English 235: Cultural Identity in American Literature gave the students to read six different books in three months and the students had to write papers for each book. It was so hard to read more than 300 pages for each class and the pressure that I had to finish all book every two weeks was stressed me out. I was really worried and I went to see the doctor and they tried to figure it out whats going on with my chest and so that I had to see the doctor every day. It was the first time for me to going to hospital every day in America. Then, my doctor told me my hear is so sensitive and I need be really careful otherwise I will lose breathing because of the chest pain. Good thing was I finished the semester at LaGuardia community college and I finally could transfer my visa things to The New School. Nevertheless, June was not easy month for me as well. Since I started ti have the chest pain, I refused to talk with my family members because I always feel the pressure to be better when I talk to them so that I did not speak anyone from May until June 20th. June 20th, my mom called me that my dog was at the hospital and he would not make it until I come home in July. It was a sudden and unbelievable news to me. My dog and I had a really strong relationship since he came to our family. And everyone was crying over the phone and they asked me what they should do for him.
