I found out about the program from, who attended the program.
Although I have had several accomplishments that I am very proud of, the accomplishment that comes first to mind was winning first place in a series of three chess tournaments where excellent performance in the previous tournament is required to gain entrance into the next.
In the first tournament I competed against members of my school in a round robin format which was held over several weeks. I ranked among the top four from this tournament as a result was eligible to move on to the next tournament where I faced the top placing students from other schools in my county. After failing to checkmate one of my opponents, I wound up in second place, but I still had enough points for

This tournament was my seventeenth, and I definitely see it as a hallmark because it was the culmination of so much effort I had put in throughout the years.
I have several goals which I am actively pursuing, but the goal most central to my motivation is to become an entrepreneur. At the age of seventeen my father dropped out of high school to start up a pressure washing business, which he has successfully owned and operated for over thirty years. He has had a great influence on me, and has taught me that the easiest way to do what you love is to have the autonomy to do what you want.
There are several actions I have taken to fulfill my goal. Firstly, I have chosen to attend a cooperative education program at the University of Waterloo in software engineering. I chose to attend a program that incorporates practical work experience because I am responsible for financing my post-secondary education. The six four-month co-ops will also allow for varied experiences in both academic and industrial settings. This will improve my knowledge base, promote networking, and allow me to gauge which area of technology that I am most passionate
3. To provide Northeastern University students with cooperative educational experiences that have a significant impact on their professional lives.
I was first introduced to the real world CS and programming languages in Grade 9. I learned Java for 4 years and watching my code execute correctly was always delightful. And that is when I decided that I wanted to pursue CS. At UCI, I learned Python in my first year and currently I am learning C++. Some assignments have really blown me away as I was able to connect the dots between different concepts and produce results. To get exposed to CS, I job shadowed a Web Developer and a Director of Operation. To gain new skills, I did a research project in areas of crowdsourcing where I learned Django and applied my knowledge in creating a website with other teammates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I worked on IoT and Augmented Reality as a summer intern. I am currently working on Augmented Reality as an intern, this quarter. I believe that learning and applying are different things and unless you are able to develop or progress by applying your knowledge you won’t know if you have indeed trodden the path of mastering it. I am grateful to have several opportunities to help me grow and advance in CS.
I am currently a third-year student enrolled in the Computer Engineering Co-op program at McMaster University. Over the last
In 1985 I applied for the program but I was rejected. Again I tried in 1987, this time I was within the top 100 out of thousands of applications,
Winning golf tournaments to me was and is one of the most exhilarating feelings I have ever experienced. Anytime you put one hundred percent of yourself into something, then reap the benefits it’s going to be a great f...
My greatest accomplishment is my family. It may not seem like an accomplishment to most people, but in my eyes it is huge. I had the impression growing up that if my parents did not seem happy, how could I ever possibly make marriage work for me. By the late 1980’s when I was in high school, I swore I would never marry and never have kids. Eventually I did change my mind, reluctantly I might add. We as humans learn to live by example and my parents were not always the best examples. I come from a military family, my father was in the Navy for 23 years. Leaving my Mom to raise my younger brother and me. So every three years we felt like a single parent family when sea duty rolled around. I always felt like my Father choose to leave us when he went on a cruise for six month. Now I understand that it was a necessity in order for my parents to stay together. In a since, what I’m saying is the separation eventually made us a better family. The heart sometimes needs to miss someone in order to know how it feels about them. Sometime my Mother and I both wish my Father would go away for a little while. I would not object to him take my husband with him as long as they come back. The one person who was able to get me to consider settling down was a former Marine. That I’m still married to after ten years and three children.
Being the top student in my secondary school (with 85.5%), I got admitted into Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering at MIT, Ujjain. My curriculum enhanced my knowledge in Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, and Analytical and Industrial Instrumentation. Having a strong zeal towards Information System and Computer Programming, I have also learned different languages like C, C++, SQL and PL/SQL.
My undergraduate degree at DTU has laid the groundwork for me through a well-designed curriculum that has helped me develop...
... advanced computing, with specific reference to Computer Programming. I therefore believe that I must return to the academic world for further growth and achieve some more milestones.
I have secured an overall percentage of 7.2 GPA at my undergraduate level. In addition to my course work, I also have practical experience that will aid in the development of my future studies and career, with my own initiative and zeal to explore the practical aspects of Real Time Systems. My inclination towards programming was demonstrated in the projects I executed in my B.Tech course. My mini-project “Capacitive touch SenSors” and my major-project “Mobile controlled Land Rover” involved intensive programming in embedded C
Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” Individuality is a great accomplishment, especially in this day in age. Many people, social media, television shows, advertisements, etc. are trying to pressure people to be something that they are not. Individuality is important and a great accomplishment because people who are individuals are not influenced by other people's choices, they contribute their own brilliant ideas to the world, and they lead more joyous, happier lives. Individuality is a great accomplishment because people are not influenced by other people’s choices.
Hence, I plan to further immerse myself in such activities by participating in internships and the on-campus employment program at
“Knowledge, experience and the quality education are the best accomplishment in the race of life” is the statement in which I strongly believe and I forever yearn to have that. What is innovative today is obsolete tomorrow. We need to constantly streamline and upgrade our tools and resources. I believe that only an in depth study and an extensive research in my field of interest will help me to achieve my goal. I live in a world of changing times where technology is constantly engineering better lives. Brought up in a liberalized, humane and a capriciously technically charged environment, I see myself being a consistent part of constant changes around me. Today, my thoughts and aims in life spring from and centre around the world of Electrical Engineering.
Ever since I was little I’ve been what you would call a “high achieving” kid. I did well in school, I did well in sports and I did well in my community. I was always the first one to class, and the last one to leave the field. I was the kid that all my friends’ parents compared their children to. I was the kid with a room full of trophies and awards. In my mind, the worst possible thing I could do was disappoint the people around me. In elementary school I was involved in every club imaginable. I was in the band, I played in the orchestra, I sang solos for chorus, I was in the math club, I was president of student council, I played travel soccer, I was involved in every activity possible, and I excelled in all of them. This
My greatest achievement to date, started when I was only ten years old. Little did I know that the decision I would make as a fifth grader would shape not only my life choices, but what kind of person I would grow up to be. The decision was joining The Boy Scouts of America. Up-until fifth grade being a part of Boy Scouts was something I enjoyed but was mostly something my parents made me participate in. My main interest consisted of playing basketball with my closest friends. The problem was that the basketball practice time was at the exact same time as the boy scout meeting time. My parents, understanding my love for basketball, sat me down and asked me which activity I would rather pursue. The choice was entirely mine. I spent the next
