The story of Morrie is an unique source of inspiration to all of us
Tuesdays with Morrie is an inspirational and descriptive novel about a dying Brandeis professor named Morrie.The novel is written by Mitch Albom, a man who attended Brandeis University and had Morrie as one of his professors. It was a class that Albom says he will never forget, because Morrie had a way of connecting with everybody with his large heart and deep thoughts.
On the first Tuesday that Mitch goes to visit Morrie they diccus the world, and Morrie states that, “he feels closer to people who suffer than [he] ever did before. The other night on TV I saw people in Bosnia[...] getting fired upon, killed,innocent victims, and I just started to cry”. Morrie is changed by his illness, and suddenly the horrible things happening in the world seem to affect him more than they ever have. Pride. Vanity. Why do we do the things we do”? On mitch's twelfth visit to see Morrie they talk about forgiveness. In Morrie's final days he has realized there is no time in life to hold grudges or dwell on things. Morrie tells a story about once held a grudge against, and Morrie says that his friend died before he could make peace; as he remembers this, he starts to cry. Morries main point here is that you need to make peace with people before it's too late.
I rate this movie four and a half stars out of five, primarily because it's a true and empowering story that provides a glimpse into inspiring and interesting final days of Morrie. This movie offers a glimpse into the glimpse. I did not give it five stars because at some points the book is a little dull and slightly boring. Overall, Tuesdays with Morrie is an emotional and powerful book, and as you read, you find yourself interested in what Morrie has to
