You ever had a turning point that changed your life? Well if you did you’re not alone because these characters Brian, Moon Shadow, and Rachel did too. First of all, Brian had his life-changing moment on an island and Moon Shadow dealt with his father being away from him. Finally, Rachel had hers on her own birthday, if you want to know more about their life-changing experiences keep on reading. Brian faced a turning point in his life when he was stranded in a forest which led him to loneliness and hunger. This is the evidence that proves Brian’s loneliness,” he had to spent nights alone, and hoped they would come for him” (pg.5).Although Brian hoped he would be rescued, his loneliness made him question if and when someone would come for him. Next, this evidence show how Brian was hungry which was,” but then the lake water filled his stomach which left him hungry“(pg.7). When Brian showed his hungry it made him wonder when he would be able to eat a nice juicy burger with fry’s and a chocolate shake. When his father went away Moon Shadow felt curious based on page 20 paragraph 4 it states,” I was curious about the land of the golden mountains mainly because my father was there.” When Moon Shadow knew his father was gone he hoped that his mom would tell him one day about his past. Second, Moon Shadow has the fear of his dad's country that he moved to based on page 20 paragraph 1 it says that there was white demon which were dangerous and also lynched his grandfather, and that was Moon Shadows fear. Moon Shadow feared the white demon because he wanted his father to be safe. Although, Moon Shadow did not get to meet his father he was able to visualize him with the details his mother gave to him. This is how it was a life-changing moment for Moon
