Handheld and mobile devices have been an increasing necessity as their capabilities and functionalities have increased over the past few years. Despite that mobile technology's emergence is recent, there are a lot of factors that have helped in the development and evolution of its user interfaces for the mobile web and mobile applications. While mobile technology can be seen as a new and dominating medium, there are a few problems that many developers and designers have faced. Nonetheless, the design of user interfaces for Mobile Applications and Mobile Websites are ever changing and provide for a lucrative business, and because of that there are many advances in its technology and structure, and the standard for design is constantly on the move. Looking back at the history of User Interface, design is essential in order to avoid the pitfalls and mistakes that may have been seen before in its early stages and advancing on into today’s design. User interface design can go all the way back to the beginnings in digital computers. It first emerged in around the 1950’s when engineers were beginning to evaluate data on monitors (projekt202.com). The history of progression in software can be broken down into three eras: batch (1945-1968), command-line (1969-1983) and graphical (1984 and after) (catb.org). Although not necessarily a part of mobile user interface design, these eras contributed greatly to its birth, especially since without the emergence of personal computers there wouldn’t exist today the personal mobile computers and phones that we are so dependent on. Among the revolutionary interfaces that changed the way we utilize technology on a daily basis is that of Apple’s IOS system. Devices that use this are the ever popular... ... middle of paper ... ...ave to press next in order to accomplish a task. Whatever the future of Mobile User Interface Design is, it is definitely going to keep advancing in functionality and in aesthetic appeal. Whether or not our standards for aesthetics and functionality changes over time, the trend for UI design will always aim for a better user experience. But with the advancement of new software and technology there will always be problems that arise and solutions to those problems that come afterwards. Because of this, technology will always continue to evolve to correct the issues or flaws of the previous generation’s technology. Let us now examine a number of perspectives that should be considered when designing software solutions. In most cases, these perspectives will have direct consequences to the design of the user interface.
For most people, not having a cell phone is unimaginable and without one we feel disconnected from the world. The leading device that helps us survive and navigate through this current hi-tech world is the Apple iPhone. With features like 3G network capability and remote database access it offers full computer functionality in the palm of a hand. Besides voice calls and text messages, the iPhone allows for full web browsing, email, and allows the installation of applications to further enhance usability through its own AppStore. But what if one wanted to push the iPhone’s capabilities beyond the limit of what Apple is willing to provide? The answer can be found in our other world, the cyber-world.
As we progress deeper into the digital era, we rely more and more on our electronic devices. Over the last decade, almost everyone who lives in a developed nation owns a cellphone and they are becoming an integral part of our life.
If you ask people to name one of the most important technologies of the twentieth century, one of the answers would most certainly be the computer. A computer, however, is not a technology all to itself. Many other technologies went into the modern home computers of today, including the mouse. Douglas C. Engelbart, a worker at the SRI (Stanford Research Institute), invented the mouse in 1964. However, the process of the invention of the mouse was not instantaneous and without effect on the realm of computing and society. In this paper I will be examining the problems that had to be overcome and the technologies that had to be invented for the mouse to become a reality. It also analyzes the impacts it has had on society and the computer industry.
Technology has become a huge part of everyday life, and people seem to have one great debate and are fighting over which is the best phone, iPhone or Android. The Apple iPhone is a cellular smartphone that was created and is maintained by Apple Inc. Android is another type of smartphone that is accessible to consumers, but the operating system is powered by Google and many different companies produce Android devices. The different operating systems and interfaces have created a long and carried out debate to which was superior. iPhone is the better phone and there are many reasons as to why it is superior to its rival, Android. The iPhone’s sleek and beautiful design has users’ hands fondling the device and never putting it down. The operating system is very distinct, but is straightforward with its functionality. People who purchase the iPhone believe that they have received their money’s worth and more when owning and iPhone. The iPhone is better than Android when compared because of the beautiful design and attractive display, the operating system and its functionality, and the device’s personal worth is definitely worth the money spent to own one.

Through Apple’s innovative enterprise approach, we seek to generate personal computing products which have higher quality at lower unit costs than the previously available one. In order to manage projects effectively in the program,

Now is the technology era for in the world, many people live with technologies in their daily life. In general, technology meant knowledge of tools improve a pre-existing solution to a problem. There were so many habits of using technologies, like using computer to do documentation works, using social network to chat with friend in other country, until now using mobile devices to view web sites. Growth in mobile devices and smartphones had eased many people access Web pages. Normally, we use the computer or desktop to open a browser and visit to some websites. The content of websites is same when you use personal computer and desktop to visits it, caused by the size of screen is almost same. To build a more user friendly website that allow user to view the exactly same content of the Web pages regardless of the device’s screen size, a web pages with responsive web design is introduced. Responsive web design is ways to design web pages that work consistently across different screen size, platform, and user interface by using the same codebase (Pilon, 2013). The issues we always focus is the elements, pros, and cons. Hence, this report will discuss about the main components, advantages, and disadvantages of responsive web design.
...introduced to all these facts, it is clearly visible that graphical user interfaces played a major role in the development of modern society, and its relations with computing, and IT. Introducing the GUI in the early 1980s did in fact make computers and digital devices more accessible to people, often with no knowledge of computers, and revolutionized the way, in which media and information function today. The GUI has further made the abstract Information Technology more friendly towards a regular user, by allowing user customization of the work environment, and hence, made computers an integrated part of our lifestyle, work and leisure. Finally, because GUI is an inseparable of the most common computer work environments, it has become an element of our compulsory education, which just concretes its role as both facilitator, and prompter of social and life changes.
Within this essay I will be writing about interaction design I will cover my chosen subject in detail via the extensive research I have gathered. I will define and analyse interaction design using key examples of this design practise both histor ical and contemporary.

The very first iPhone was announced by the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, in 2007. His vision was to reinvent the phone. iPhones have revolutionized smartphones and have shaped the cell phone industry into what it is today. On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs put together an incredible keynote presentation. He stated that he would be “introducing a wide-screen ipod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough Internet device” (Ritchie, 2015). The audience assumed that this meant that Mr. Jobs would be launching three separate devices. However, it was only one device, the iPhone. Within the past 7 years, Apple has been able to tweak its iPhones by incorporating major redesigns. These redesigns use combinations
The purpose of this report is to provide information and help customers in purchasing Apple and Android devices. Apple and Android are two dominant operating systems used these days. Cellphones are becoming more like mini computers every year. Because of such advanced technology, we have trouble finding out which styles, designs, features, and models to choose and purchase from. This guide will provide information on both types of cellphone that will help people evaluate and choose which type of cellphone would benefit them best.
