The three main religions of the Middle East are Islam, Christianity and Judaism. They are all monotheistic religions, which means they believe in one God. These religions are different in many ways. However, are also similar in beliefs and connections to places and people. This essay will be discussing Islam and Christianity as two seperate religious and then contrasting and comparing them. This will demonstrate that although ideas are varying among people that are Muslim and Christian, they are all ultimately connected.
Islam is a monotheistic religion that originated in Mecca by Muhammad and worships the

Abraham is that Abraham asked God to bless his descendants and keep them under the protection of God. Holy sites of Islam include the Kaaba and the Great Mosque of Mecca.
The holy book of Islam is the Qur’an and the symbol is a star and crescent. To conclude,
Islam is a fascinating religion that has a rich history and interesting traditions and requirements. Christianity is another popular monotheistic religion that stems from the Middle East.

The Bible was written by many different communities over time and the style of writing changes in each section, it is separated into the Old Testament and the New Testament. Christianity is a compelling religion that is based on the life and teachings of Jesus and is very influential to the lives of countless people across the world.
Christianity and Islam are two seperate religions. Although, in ways they are similar while also having differences. We know that both Christianity and Islam originated in the Middle
East and are monotheistic religions. We also know that they both are connected to
Jerusalem and Abraham, for different reasons. Some other interesting commonalities are that both religions respect the early prophets including Joseph, Moses, Noah, Abraham,
David and John the Baptist. Christians and Muslims both believe that following their religion with benefit them personally and will create harmony and peace among others.
Some differences are quite clear and significant with the two, two seperate books are holy, The Bible and the Qur’an and the Muslims and Christians have two seperate founders and two different Gods. There are three mains groups of Christians, Orthodox,
Protestant and Roman Catholic. Whereas, Islam has two main groups, Sunni and Shia.
