of the novel.
“‘A delinquent, that’s what I am”’ (pg6). Meg is not like the rest of the people at her school and she is considered “dumb”. Meg takes too many shortcuts in her work and that is why the people at her school think she is dumb but, Meg is actually very smart and that is why she is so different from everyone else. Meg’s unique characteristics can limit her on what she can do but she learns quickly how to change into a better person then she already is. Meg achieves many things in “A Wrinkle in TIme”. The main thing that meg achieves is, saving her brother Charles Wallace from IT by giving him love. Meg was able to defeat IT by giving Charles Wallace love because the one thing that IT doesn’t have that meg has is love. ”She knew!, Love” (p198) This makes Meg very heroic because not only did she defeat IT, she was able to bring back her family as a whole again. If Meg hadn’t changed then Meg would not be able to destroy IT. The reason for this is, while she would be with IT her mind would be wanting her father to come and save everything instead of her knowing that it had to be her. Meg knowing that nobody else but her strengthened her power to defeat IT. Meg’s accomplishments would not have been possible if she did not change.
The biggest change that Meg had was, she changed from hating herself to being able to save her father and, most importantly Charles Wallace. She used to rely on her father and other people for responsibilities that she needed to do but then she realized that it was her that needed to do things on her own and that she was the one that needed to save Charles Wallace. ”All right, I’ll go!”Meg sobbed...” (p187). Meg’s change will definitely change her life and the people around her forever. As you can see, Meg has changed an awful lot and she has

If you live a life like Delia working hard and helping others, in the end the rewards will show it. The best lesson to learn from “Sweat” is that life is what you make it.
