I chose a career as a medical assistant because of the rewards I knew I would experience on a daily basis. Seeing a patient smile because I have helped them understand, or just making them feel comfortable with their visit, is just one of the many perks of my job. Upon graduating from an accredited college such as The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP), I now work for one of the most reputable hospitals in my area. Within two short years of committed studies, I obtained my associate of applied science degree, and then went on to obtain my certification as a medical assistant. There is nothing I have found more fulfilling, strong, secure, or rewarding then choosing to become a medical assistant,

Blood tests can indicate many different conditions such as a hormone imbalance or blood type. This is very important because if someone receives a blood type that is not compatible with their own blood, the patient could die. Skin and tissue samples can also lead to a diagnosis. As a child I had always been interested in medicine and the medical world. My passion of learning about the human body started when I was younger. I encountered many health problems throughout my toddler years. I looked up to the doctors and medical staff around me and continue to look up to them, they were and are still my heros. That is why my goal in life is to become a general surgeon. I want to be able to save many lives since it is possible now to do so now.
