A surgical technologist is an adventurous, inspiring, and active job to have, working under the bright lights, wearing masks, strong suction, sharp, shiny tools and most importantly seeing opened life on the operating table with many adventures to come in the operating room.

Surgical technologist have a fulfilling and adventurous job, being a technical assistant to the surgeon’s, with a number of tasks ahead of them, and problems that will go on, with an outcoming salary that will make a good living in life.

A surgical technologist job hours is at least 18 hours, if they are sleeping at home and get an emergency call they have to go in and work. Before the surgery the surgical technologist will get the patient ready for surgery, dressing them, cleaning their bed, cleaning their bodies from infections, like putting bandages on them, and getting them into the operating room. As the surgeon's walk into the operating room, with the help of the

surgical technologist scrubbing them in, tying their scrubs, head caps, gloves, helping them scrub there arms and hands. Tools set up on the table from scalpel, scissors, and and machines on the side assisted when the surgeon says, “suction”. Sometimes a surgeon will even let a surgical technologist help with the surgery. Helping with CPR, putting sponges in the body, holding pressure, and many more adventurous tasks during surgery.

After the surgery the surgical technologist’s help clean up, if blood is spilled on the ground they clean the mess up, they will wash the tools, and the table until it is clean from bacteria.

So that there no exposed to bacteria or sickness, because there around opened bodies all the time. After they have cleaned the operating room up, they will keep posted on the patient, clean their wounds, clean their rooms, with new pillows new bedsheets, and keeping the patient healthy. The surgical technologist will keep the surgeon in check just in case of emergencies, bleed outs, and in case of the patient failing.

In conclusion, due to the adventurous job and thrilling tasks as being a surgical technologist, having a good salary, and good experiences, being a surgical technologist is a good, thrilling career. Surgical technologist, have life experiences in the operating room, with their surgical team, and the surgeon’s, being a surgical technologist is a delightful job to work as a team in the

hospital.
