Believing medical errors happen in everywhere in the world, but every mistakes has a reason behind. In Saudi Arabia, so many cases happened, but there are still not estimate exact number about medical error. There are so many medical errors are never reported in Saudi Arabia by healthcare professionals because of punishment. Some patient’s do not reporting their cases due to repotting do not give them most of their right to have.
With so many motivations to write about medical error in Saudi Arabia among health government plus privet hospital about medical errors. Reading so many stores and hearing others from friends, newspaper, and intranet. Would like to start to put most of reasons that make medical errors in Saudi Arabia such as: some doctors cheating with their licensed, operating on the wrong body part, infection infestation, baby switchers.
Frist thing, some doctors cheating with their licensed. In general, most of doctors who practice medical treatment from other nationality from around the world. When doctors come to Saudi, most of them they do not have enough experiences. They come with contract jobs. After those doctors been in Saudi hospital maybe one or two years, they put in really hard causes and they cannot find problems with patients.

The Texas Medical Institute of Technology, through programs such as Chasing Zero, is bringing a public voice to the issue of healthcare harm. The documentary is a stirring example of the quality issues facing the healthcare system. In 2003, the NQF first introduced the 30 Safe Practices for Better Healthcare, which it hoped all hospitals would adopt (National Quality Forum, 2010). Today the list has grown to 34, yet the number of preventable healthcare harm events continues to rise. The lack of standardization and mandates which require the reporting of events contributes to the absence of meaningful improvement. Perhaps through initiatives such as those developed by TMIT and the vivid and arresting patient stories such as Chasing Zero, change will soon be at hand.
I have been aware of medical errors for some time now. While in nursing school I have heard many stories from classmates and instructors of instances where people they knew, or loved ones had been either harmed or died because of a medical error. I have had experiences with medical errors. When I was in the hospital for the birth of my first child, the nurse that came to change out my IV bag did not check the
Hospital medical errors can involve medicines (e.g., wrong drug, wrong dose, bad combination), an inaccurate or incomplete diagnosis, equipment malfunction, surgical mistakes, or laboratory errors. High medical error rates with serious consequences occurs in intensive care units, operating rooms, and emergency departments; but, serious errors that harmed patients may have prevented or minimized. In “When Doctors Make Mistakes,” Atul Gawande flatly states that “all doctors make terrible mistakes” (657). In doing so he explains certain failures and errors that doctors commit that led to situations that in danger patients. Gawande first mentions a study that found “…nearly
Milani, Oleck and Lavie reported that Medical errors are the eighth leading cause of death in the hospitals. About 44,000 to 98,000 people die each year from adverse effects from medication errors, 1 million annually die in
The home health care facility is raised for providing the health facilities to the individuals at their homes. This health care facility does not have a very intensive control and supervision. Thus the most fraudulent cases occur in the home health care. The home health care providers are making large amounts of money and not being able to deliver qualitative services to the people. The health are providers are making easy money but not making an effort to improve the health of the individuals, rather they seemed to waste their time for the sake of retrieving money. The patients are not getting good health services and suffering at the hands of their health. They health care providers are having a very careless approach towards the patients. They do not diagnose the exact problem and carry out unnecessary treatments on the patients. Thus patient is not only charged with undue amount abut also suffers with more health problems. These health problems remain unaddressed thus becoming a cause of serious illness or sometimes it even becomes fatal. (Charles Piper,
The children had incurred numerous needles and painful hospital admissions, investigations, and procedures because of a false story and factitious signs...the falsification was not by the patient themselves but by another person "acting on their behalf" which is a proxy (502).
In my essay I am going to elaborate about the types of frauds, and my thesis statement here lies as “Types of frauds and committed by whom in health care system? Who can be suspected for this act and what can we do for future to remove these fraudulent?”

Medical errors can happen in the healthcare system such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, operating rooms, doctor’s offices, pharmacies, patients’ homes and anywhere in the healthcare system where patients are being treated. These errors consist of diagnostic, treatment, medicine, surgical, equipment calibration, and lab report error. Furthermore, communication problems between doctors and patients, miscommunication among healthcare staff and complex health care systems are playing important role in medical errors. We need to look for a solution which starts changes from physicians, nurses, pharmacists, patients, hospitals, and government agencies. In this paper I will discuss how does the problem of medical errors affect our healthcare delivery system? Also how can these medical errors be prevented and reduced?
Keeping patients safe is essential in today’s health care system, but patient safety events that violate that safety are increasing each year. It was only recently, that the focus on patient safety was reinforced by a report prepared by Institute of medicine (IOM) entitled ” To err is human, building a safer health system”(Wakefield & Iliffe,2002).This report found that approx-imately 44,000 to 98,000 deaths occur each year due to medical errors and that the majority was preventable. Deaths due to medical errors exceed deaths due to many other causes such as like HIV infections, breast cancer and even traffic accidents (Wakefield & Iliffe, 2002). After this IOM reports, President Clinton established quality interagency coordination task force with the help of government agencies. These government agencies are responsible for making health pol-icies regarding patient safety to which every HCO must follow (Schulman & Kim, 2000).

Private and public health care providers suffer from the attraction and retention of qualified health care professionals, such as the number of physicians per 10,000 population is 15 for the UAE while it is 35 for Germany and 25 for Qatar. This is causing slow growth in the development of UAE health care systems (Deloitte & Touche, 2011). The low numbers of physicians per population were because of the failure of the UAE health care system to retain doctors and nurses, as well as some of the doctors leaving their jobs while some nurses leave their positions annually. The attraction and retention of staff is hampered by a lack of continuing education because of a shortage of medical schools which are showing elevation of capabilities and professional development.... ...
The health care is extremely important to society because without health care it would not be possible for individuals to remain healthy. The health care administers care, treats, and diagnoses millions of individual’s everyday from newborn to fatal illness patients. The health care consists of hospitals, outpatient care, doctors, employees, and nurses. Within the health care there are always changes occurring because of advance technology and without advance technology the health care would not be as successful as it is today. Technology has played a big role in the health care and will continue in the coming years with new methods and procedures of diagnosis and treatment to help safe lives of the American people. However, with plenty of advance technology the health care still manages to make an excessive amount of medical errors. Health care organizations face many issues and these issues have a negative impact on the health care system. There are different ways medical errors can occur within the health care. Medical errors are mistakes that are made by health care providers with no intention of harming patients. These errors rang from communication error, surgical error, manufacture error, diagnostic error, and wrong medication error. There are hundreds of thousands of patients that die every year due to medical error. With medical errors on the rise it has caused the United States to be the third leading cause of death. (Allen.M, 2013) Throughout the United States there are many issues the he...
