The term mass communication was coined in the 1920s, with the initiation of countrywide radio networks, magazines, and newspapers which is has been spread among the general public. The delivery of information to a nationwide variety of people remains the main purpose of mass communications. Even though today mass communications are widely used as primarily because it is a satisfying exercise which may reward a person or company with brand and name recognition, directly increasing credibility. Regularly used units for analysis mass communications are the messages, medium for communication, and the people for whom the information is proposed. Mass communication involve all form of information to be convey to people and the information transmit to the large group of people. The mass communication involve newspaper, book, magazines, radio, television, and internet. With this all method to convey the information to people it make easier people to access to the information. Mass communication is the combined word that is used to define the numerous other means of communication which is the persons and individuals can transmit the data into the large group of people over mass media. Furthermore, there are several choices of media which is selected for distribute the message is very significant. The media selected should be have the ability to cater the mass publics. The information also can be relayed in changed forms. The newscast should be purely new and should be attract audience interest while hearing, reading or watching the news. For example, in Malaysia as we can know there are several station television will start broadcast news on 8.00pm every day. Why? Because the time is the primary time for all Malaysian to watch television and watching news. There are numerous broadcaster in Malaysia which is TV1, TV2, TV3, and Astro Awani and etc. This not included with other languages that may broadcast on the same time every day. For radio station, they play important role as a speaker and transmit the information or message to general public using frequency that has been set up by state. Every state has its own frequency to ensure people can keep listening to their broadcasting. Furthermore, mass communication has all the features of communication. In addition, mass communication also offer a very unique characteristic because of the specialty mass communication in nature. Mass communication always convey the information in large of number of people without need to differentiate the size of geography area. With this kind of transportation of information it will be easier to the general public to get the information through the mass communication.
