ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS :
We thank James Marty for allowing us to develop a management plan on his parcel of land. We are grateful to James Marty for providing us with information about the unit location, vegetation cover, and wildlife populations.
INTRODUCTION:
The management plan was developed to accomplish the stated objectives. The plan will serve as a guideline for the landowner’s habitat improvements. In addition, this management plan is a requirement of the Wildlife 451 course at the College of Natural Resources, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of this management plan are to:
1. Increase the density white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus).
2. Increase the density of American badgers (Taxidea taxus).
3. Increase the density western meadowlarks (Sturnella neglecta).
4. Implement a rotational grazing system for beef production.
MANAGEMENT AREA
Location, Zoning, Ownership, and Access
The management area is located in Mount Pleasant Township, Green County, Wisconsin (Fig. 1). The management area, 410 ac (161 ha) in size, currently is managed by James Marty. The management area is considered an agricultural zone. The legal description of the property is E ½ SE ½ Sec. 29, N ½ NE ¼ Sec. 32 , W ½ SW ¼ SW ¼ , SE ¼ SW ¼ SW ¼, S ¾ NW ¼ NW ¼, S ½ NW ¼, SW ¼ NE ¼ Sec. 33. T3N. R8E. Green County. Wisconsin.
Climate:
The average summer temperature is 69.5oF (20.8oC) for the management area. The average summer temperature range is 58.3 to 80.8oF (14.6 to 27.1oC) (Green County 2014). The average winter temperature is 21.3 (-5.9oC) for the property. The average winter temperature range is 12.3 to 30.2oF (-1 to -10.9oC). The annual precipitation is 36.2 in (91.9 cm). The average snowfall is 36.8 (93.5 ...

Sidney Investments would like to be advised on the possibilities of keeping that land in timber production and the operations necessary for the management of shortleaf pine. Sidney has come to Hall-Tree Silvicultural Consultants for a description of the silvicultural procedures involved, and the firm will then perform an economic analysis, checking the current market prices for the implementation of those procedures before making a decision on the purchase of this property. The 360 acre tract that Sidney Investments is considering is located in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The elevation of the site does not vary much, ranging from 400 to 460 feet above mean sea level. The soil, primarily composed of sand and silt, is quite mesic and highly drained.
Background Information In implementing a strategic plan for Coastal Medical Center, our consulting team has conducted many analyses and formed numerous strategies in order for Coastal Medical Center to be successful. Such assessments include an internal analysis, external analysis, gap analysis, and SWOT analysis. In conducting these analyses, our consulting team was able to better understand the internal environment, external environment, where the organization currently stands in terms of performance, and the major strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that oppose the Coastal Medical Center. From our inquiry, we will be able to establish a strategic plan that best fits the organization’s needs.

First, the reasons of opposition starts from visible things such as plants and living organisms. President of the Native Plant Society San Gabriel Chapter, Melanie Baer, states that the wild grassland ecosystem of Agoura Hills located in the Ahmanson Ranch provides an important habitat for almost-extinct native plant species called Purple needle-grass, or Stipa pulchra. She also suggests that the mitigation of this plant will not be successful due to its difficulty and poor peripheral environment, such as golf course, of the mitigation site. Similaly, Dr. Barbara J. Collins, professor of biology at California Lutheran University, argues that the environmental impact report prepared for the development was inadequate and she points out the importance of the oak savannah along a North-facing slope of Lakey Mesa in the Ahmanson Ranch. According to her opinion, these oak trees are about 200 to 300 years old valley oaks and they are very sensitive species. A large portion of these oaks will be removed, and the remaining will most likely not survive the environmental changes they will go through due to its sensitive nature. In addition, these plants create crucial habitat for other living organisms such as birds, mammals, invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles. Some of them are even listed in the Federal and State endangered and threatened species lists.
After analyzing the Coastal Medical Center, it is apparent that the employees and staff have no conception of the mission, vision, and values of this health care facility. In addition to this lack of structure, CMC has many projects in the midst of production that lack support of a common goal, employees are unsatisfied with their jobs, the two boards lack ability to agree on strategic decisions for the organization,, and the medical center has a dismal reputation when it comes to quality care.

For example, the National Park Service is one of the most important players involved because they are one of the four management branches over the Wilderness areas. Additionally, John Hans Krebs is associated with this meadow because it is named after him; therefore, he takes on the reputation of how his Wilderness is being taken care of. Also, because the Cahoon Meadow is located in the Sequoia National Park, the managers who work there have a say in what happens to the meadow. Consequently, “As part of an effort to understand the origins, impacts, and restoration potential of erosion gullies in wetlands, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks received funding from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy to investigate Cahoon Meadow” (Wolf & Cooper, 2016). This donation makes the Sierra Nevada Conservancy a player in restoring the Cahoon Meadow because they are concerned with protecting the land. Mostly everyone involved with the situation wants to see the meadow restored, the only question being proposed is how will it be

The study area consisted of Latah and Benewoh in Idaho, USA. The research used a total of 105 sites to collect data; ranking the areas from lowest to highest elevation. The methods implemented in this research consisted of wetland sampling, mail survey and habitat modelling. The combined results allowed for better insight for the conservation of these species. The first section of the experiment consist...
In management, each of the four functions, planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, are crucial to the development of any business. Involving employees in the planning process help them understand the goals of the organization. Planning is analyzing a situation, determining the goals that will be pursued, and deciding in advance the actions needed to pursue the goals. This paper will evaluate the planning function of the Halliburton Company and analyze the impact that legal issues, ethics, and corporate social responsibilities have on management planning along with examples of each, and analyze three factors that influence strategic, tactical, operational, and contingency planning.
An efficient system of rotational grazing allows the farmers achieve this. There are various systems available including Paddock Grazing, Strip Grazing, Block Grazing, Set Stocking, Creep Feeding, leader follower system, Zero grazing and Mixed Grazing.
