Making Frankenstein, written by Wyatt Prunty, is a poem about a young boy who learns a lot about himself through his trials and his father. The poem begins with repetition showing the fighting forces of want and wisdom. The want factor coming from the boy himself and the knowledge of his parents. He desperately wants to attend a showing of The Curse Of Frankenstein but his parents are aware of the fact that he will most likely be scared afterwards.
The poem continues with he, the young boy, and his father discussing facts of life. His father, seemingly drinking throughout the entire poem, shows him pictures of human anatomy out of books. He tells him lengthy words and leaves it up to the boy to figure out what he means. A way to connect this
