The Lufthansa Heist was a robbery that took place at the John F. Kennedy International Airport; the people (players) robbed five million dollars at the time of the robbery. The total amount of money robbed to todays’ date is estimated to be around eighteen million dollars and three million dollars in jewelry. The heist was planned by Jimmy Burke and carried out by a number of people. A van would be used to transport the cash and another car would accompany the van to run interference should something happen.
There were several people who took about in this heist, and they all had different roles to play. Martin Krugman was the one who started the plot when he told Henry Hill, who happened to be an associates of Jimmy Burke, about millions of dollars that were untraceable. This information came from two workers at the airport Louis Werner and Peter Gruenwald, they were successful in stealing money from their employer, Lufthansa, in 1976. Louis Werner helped throughout the planning process, such as telling them where the robbers should park their cars/vans.
One thing that made this heist more famous was the fact that Jimmy Burke started to kill off the member of the heist is a span of six months. He did this because he thought they would bring suspension by being careless, he thought that if they were caught they may speak, he also didn’t want to share any of the six million dollars with anyone else.
The people that were involved or players that were involved in this heist were; Parnell Edwards, Marin Krugman, Richard Eaton, Theresa Ferrara, Tom Monteleone, Louis Cafora, Joanna Cafora, Joe Manri, Robert McMahon, Paolo LiCastri, Thomas DeSimone, Angelo Sepe, Joanna Lombardo, and Frank Burke.
Ten of these players (people) invo...

In 1976, the entire manifestation was completely planned by a man named James Burke or better known by his alias "Jimmy the Gent". A bookmaker, Martin Krugman, told Burke's associate, Henry Hill, about the money that had been stolen. At the Kennedy Airport the stolen millions was stored in a vault. An employee at the airport, Louis Werner, owed close to $20,000 for his gambling problem and also to, Pete Gruenwald, a former coworker. Earlier, Pete Gruenwald and Louis Werner stole $22,000, without a problem from a previous employer, Lufthansa. The man who helped with all the planning was, Louis Werner. Werner went as far as telling the 'get away cars' where to park, so they could execute the plan perfectly. To get the money to its destination, they used a huge van to transport it, but it interfered with a "crash" car to make sure there was a police chase. Burke has specifically chosen the perfect amount of people to be the "inside gunman" and had one represent the crime family as the outside shooter. Burke ordered a black male, Parne...
So the main gang that was working with Boyd was not making every much money so they thought of a way to make money. They came up with the idea to steal the body of Lincoln they plan was a group would go to the monument were the body was a steal it then go up North from Springfield and burry it in a shallow grave. Then another gang member would stay in a place near the place and have witnesses that he was in town the night of the crime, then go fishing and find the shallow grave then collecting the reward and ask for the release of Boyd. The first time the gang tried to do it was 4th of July the 200th Anniversary of America but someone in the gang got drunk and talked about it in bar and it got around town so they could not do
The first suspect is Edward “Bennie” Bedwell. Bedwell was a local dishwasher who was questioned at a local motel for three days (Sigona). What supported Bedwell as a suspect is that he actually confessed to the murder (Sigona). There were multiple problems with Bedwell’s confession, however. The first problem with his confession is, “Bedwell couldn’t read or write, so it would be nearly impossible for him to understand what he was confessing to” (Sigona). The second problem with his confession is “After a time, everyone realized Bedwell’s story didn’t add up. There were inconsistencies, including the fact that Bedwell said he was with the girls for a month before they died” (Sigona). Finally, the main problem with his confession is that the girls were dead within four hours of leaving home (Sigona). The other suspect in the case of the murder of Barbara and Patricia Grimes is Max Fleig. Max Fleig was a young man in his teens when the Grimes sisters were murdered (MacGowan). Max offered to take a lie detector test, which he failed (MacGowan). The reason Fleig was released even after failing the test is “The police began to focus on him as a prime suspect until they were told that it was illegal to polygraph someone underage. The police released him, many of the authorities thinking he was their man” (MacGowan). Another example that supports Fleig as a suspect is that he was imprisoned later in his life
For instance, the multiple calls made to family members as well as 911 from the frantic passengers. Mark Bingham for instance called 911, as well as his mom telling her he loved her and that the plane was being hijacked. Another man called 911 screaming that they were being hijacked and that he heard some sort of explosion and saw white smoke coming from the plane. Then there was Tom Burnett, who called his wife saying the hijackers had already stabbed to death one passenger and that he intended to do something about it. A Jeremy Glick called his relatives saying the same, that he and some other passengers were intending to fight the hijackers. These calls brought up the thought that perhaps some passengers on board had fought the hijackers, keeping them from controlling the plane, and sending it crashing to the ground.
On the eve of Thanksgiving, Dan Cooper sat on a Boeing 727 sipping his cup of bourbon. He handed a stewardess a note, explaining his plans to hijack the plane. It was simple. He had a bomb and was demanding $200,000 and four parachutes. Upon touching down in Seattle the money and parachutes were delivered, the jet was refueled and the passengers were released. As the plane took off with only the crew, Cooper ordered the captain to fly towards Mexico. After telling the crew to remain in the cockpit, Cooper strapped on his parachute, lowered the stairs of the

This case was very interesting and I am really glad I chose it for my paper. Its amazing to me how one man with the right connections and social standing can get away with so much for so long. Nobody ever suspected him because he was the father of the NASDAQ, he couldn’t scam people for billions of dollars. And not just any random people, Mad off targeted his own people, the Jews and groups affiliated with him. He was very picky and pretended like he didn’t want to let anyone in on what he was doing which in turn made more people want to get involved and give him even more money, that’s just human
The first attack was at 8:46 AM ET on the north tower of the World Trade Center. The tower was struck by American Airlines Flight 11 which was in flight to Los Angeles. There were five hijackers aboard Flight 11. The five hijackers aboard Flight 11 were Al Sugami, Safam M. A., Alomari, Abdulaziz, Alshehri, Wail M., Alshehri, Waleed M., and Atta, Mohamed.
People would risk their life and freedom for money without regarding the consequences. On flight 305 a man whom went by the name of Dan Cooper did just that, but did his actions have consequences? D.B. Cooper is known for hijacking a plane until he received what he wanted. A note was written by D.B Cooper on that day, the note stating he had a bomb and had every intention on using it, if his demands where not met. He demanded that in a brief case, they were to put 200,000 dollars and four parachutes, with no funny business. After receiving what he wanted he jumped off the plane near Mexico, after ordering them to slow the plane, and go at a lower altitude, he used one of the parachutes he demanded. This is where the mystery begins; did Dan
From the papers Jack had tried to destroy, Dylan and Alma learn that the Four Horsemen are targeting a particular safe which is under the surveillance of another FBI team. Alma has no jurisdiction, and with the Four Horsemen's consistent ability to outwit Dylan, another FBI team leader takes over the case. The team rush to where the safe is stored, only to find the room empty. As it turns out, another FBI agent had been hypnotized to give instructions for the safe to be transported. The team escort the safe to the destination, only to meet up with Thaddeus. Thaddeus tells them to check the safe. Inside the safe they find only balloons, the Four Horsemen have outsmarted them again. By now, Dylan is convinced there is a fifth member of the team, potentially Alma or

The next day Mr. Hofmann detonated a bomb in his car, hoping that it would kill him. Law enforcement now suspected it was Mr. Hofmann that committed the murders because the evidence shows that explosives that were used were all connected. This made the connection between Mr. Hofmann, Steven Christensen, and Steven’s employer. Not only did this lead to the murder case against Mark Hofmann, but it also led to the 28 counts of fraud and forging charges. “Eyewitnesses placed Hofmann in the building where Christensen had died; bomb parts bought by "Mike Hansen" were shown, in fact, to have been bought by Mark Hofmann; he was tied to forgery after forgery.” For the defense, there were no eye witnesses to testify for Mr. Hofmann and his crimes. Government and SIA had invested in the Changi Airport together. It includes facilities such as hangar, maintenance center, and catering center, those facilities can be used by SIA, but also the customers of other airline company. So those services in Changi airport are not unique for SIA. Airport service is valuable and important for SIA or other airlines company. Low unique and high valuable, then it is not SCAs.
It was at 35 minutes into the tour when they crossed paths with the objective, a 16 year old that was known around the cul de sac as Faze Seabass. Seabass was the original prankster the spawned all the cancerous youtube pranksters with aspirations to be him one day. He pulled off some of the first and most original prank in American History. He wrote “Koran” on the whiteboard in detention, lit multiple plastic rubbish bins on fire, deleted system 32 on all the school computers, blew up the gym, and through the bleachers in the deep end of the pool just to name a few. He was very talented in an untraditional manner. Before he learned to drive, he learned to fly a helicopter. Being in the pen didn’t stop him though. On his first day there, he smuggled 10 pounds of laxatives to sneak into the food so that there would be a blowout. A little secret he knew was that the guards don’t check the back pant pockets. He capitalized on this opportunity by also smuggling in a broken bottle, three paper clips, a duck, and a Nigerian orphan. This orphan, if raised properly, would turn into a prince that could gain him lots of wealth behind
The first airplane hijacking took place on February 21, 1931 in Arequipa, Peru. Byron Rickards was with his Ford Trimotor, when he was approached on the ground by armed revolutionaries. He refused to fly them anywhere, but after a 10 day standoff, Rickards was informed that the revolution was successful. He was freed when he flew one group member to Lima.
