Live Dance Show Critique Moments In Time pt.2 at Oakmont High School was a really good dance show because all the elements put into the show really provided for a good atmosphere and displayed much talent. After viewing the entire show, Dressed All in Pink and Dancing Through the Decades were two performances that personally stood out to me beyond the rest. To begin with, Dressed All in Pink was the first performance that stood out to me because of the theme, message, and gracefulness of the dance. This performance was choreographed based on the message because all the movements contributed to the overall theme of breast cancer. The work is balanced both symmetrically and asymmetrically at times to create a sort of gracefulness and good use of space. The relationship of the movement to the music really goes to the rhythm and timing. This art was created to bring awareness to the many strong women fighting against the terrible disease of breast cancer. After watching it, I felt emotional and there were definitely tears in my eyes by the end of it because the dancers put a lot of emotion into this dance and it was something that I could really feel. Because the colors, lines, costumes, and movements I could tell that the artist intended for the viewers to get emotional. My overall opinion of this piece was that I liked it very much. When looking around at the audience, I could tell the artist was getting the reaction they wanted because the audience was very quiet, many people looked like they connected with this piece, and some were crying. I thought Jeffrey did especially good in this dance because he carried his moves out to the very max and displayed great emotion. The piece overall was
