LITTLE BILLY ON GETTING OLDER
Little BILLY was sitting on a park bench munching on one candy bar after another.
After the 6th one, a man on the bench across from him said,
"Son, you know eating all that candy isn't good for you. It will give you acne, rot your teeth, and make you fat."
Little BILLY replied, "My grandfather lived to be 107 years old."
"Oh?" replied the man. " Did your grandfather eat 6 candy bars at a time?"
"No" replied Little Billy, "he minded his own fucking business!!"
LITTLE BILLY ON...PHILOSOPHY
A teacher asks her class, "If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?"
She calls on little BILLY.
He replies, "None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot."
The teacher replies, "The correct answer is 4, but I like your thinking."
Then little BILLY says, "I have a question for YOU. There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream: One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream. The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?"
The teacher, blushing a great deal, replies, "Well, I suppose the one that's gobbled down the top and sucked the cone."
To which Little BILLY replied, "The correct answer is 'the one with the wedding ring on,' but I like your thinking."
LITTLE BILLY ON... MATH
Little BILLY returns home from school and says he got an F in arithmetic.
"Why?" asks the father."
"The teacher asked, 'How much is 2x3?' I said 6," replied BILLY.
"But that's right!" says his dad.
"Yeah, but then she asked me, 'How much is 3x2?'"
"What's the fucking difference?" asks the father?
"That's what I said!"
LITTLE BILLY ON...ENGLISH
Little BILLY goes to school, and the teacher says, "Today we are going to learn multi-syllable words, class. Does anybody have an example of a multi-syllable word?"
BILLY says " Mas-tur-bate."
Miss Rogers smiles and says, "Wow, little BILLY, that's a mouthful."
Little BILLY says,
"No, Miss Rogers, you're thinking of a blowjob."
LITTLE BILLY ON...GRAMMAR
One day, during lessons on proper grammar, the teacher asked for a show
Children love candy. Known childhood favorites are Dum Dums and Jolly Ranchers, but who would expect a childhood favorite to harm a child? One calm day 6 year old Easton Newton was playing with toy cars when he opened a hard Jolly Rancher at his best friends desk. While his teacher was checking on another classroom, Easton began to choke and tried to cough his Jolly Rancher up, but couldn’t. Luckily, Shelby Labar, a classmate, immediately rushed to Easton’s side and used the heimlich maneuver they had practiced months before. Easton was now safe. Jolly Ranchers can easily get lodged in the throat of their consumers. Clearly, Dum Dums are the better candy because they are much safer to eat.
Keith adds value is by providing break bulk and re-packaging services. If this service was not provided, many customers would not be able to buy their products direct from the manufacturers due to the minimum order quantities required for delivery. Most restaurants also must order weekly due to limited storage space, and because most foods are perishable and have a short shelf life. Ben E. Keith has 492,000 square feet of warehouse and freezer space and turns inventory quickly, so they can assume the responsibility of having what the customer needs at short notice. This eliminates the customer having to order in large quantities and deal with the concern of food expiring before it can be
The themes of hatred and judgment are shown all throughout Little Bee. Whether it’s Lawrence’s threats, the carelessness of the detention officers, or the sideways glances from the relatives at Andrew’s funeral, Little Bee is always in the middle of some kind of judgment. However, there is one character that shows pure love and understanding for Little Bee, no matter her exterior or culture. Charlie O’Rourke may be considered naïve, but it’s his naivety that allows him to see past the discrimination Little Bee receives. He is the prime example of how children are often blind to this type of abhorrence. Charlie gives the readers insight into this phenomenon by allowing Little Bee to comfort him and by finally removing his Batman costume.
As a child I remember that I wanted many things I saw on T.V. like Carl's Jr, Lucky Charms, Mcdonald's, Gushers, ect… When eating these food products, as you get older it affects your health. A good advice we can take from Wendell Berry is “Eat responsibly.”

From the beginning of the novel, Jim lives his life as a slave. He is fairly content until one day, when he overhears his owner, Mrs. Watson, talking about selling him to New Orleans. Jim becomes terrified and runs from Mrs. Watson. From that point on in the novel, Jim turns into a runaway slave. His journey with Huck down the Mississippi river begins with only the fear of being caught as a runaway slave. Later in the journey, Jim starts to yearn for freedom from slavery. This is manifested in this quote when Huck describes Jim's reactions about being free in Cairo, "Jim said it made him all over trembly and feverish to be so close to freedom" (97). Jim's excitement is also demonstrated in more actions about Cairo as Huck describes more, "Jim was fidgeting up and down past me. We neither of us could keep still. Every time he danced around and says, "Dah's Cairo!"" (97) Jim's excitement for freedom is obvious. Slavery sets social chains on Jim's life and hinders his happiness and his goals in life. The only way Jim can achieve his happiness is through freedom. Freedom for Jim means escape from slavery and a release from the social chains.

Life can be unpredictable. It can impact a man in more ways than one throughout the course of his lifetime. In the end, change is inevitable, which can be brought upon someone through a series of events. These events can incite a metamorphosis in an individual. Samuel Langhorne Clemens, more famously known as Mark Twain, is a perfect candidate. He completely transformed to a different writer with a new demeanor through the course of time. Mark Twain’s later years impacted his changed attitude about society, which is reflected in his darker tone and misanthropic themes.

Billy the Kid was undoubtedly one of, if not the, most infamous outlaws of his time. The Kid was charged for numerous murders and thefts, and succeeded in outrunning the law in more than one occasion, but he could not cheat death forever. However, he was not always a criminal, he was once just a normal boy who was dealt a bad hand. He did not have a father due to the fact that he left the family, and his mother died of Tuberculosis when he was just fifteen. Soon after that is when his life of crime began by a petty theft he and his brother committed. That was his first step onto a road paved of crime and apprehension.
Probably some of the most pleasurable and enjoyable memories of a person has to do with sweets. When thinking back to birthdays, there is always the memory of the wonderful cake that mother beautifully made and decorated with frosting and glazes. A typical night out with dad can be transformed into a magical evening with a trip to the ice cream parlor. The end of a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner turns heavenly when a hot apple pie is brought to the table and topped with delicious, melting vanilla ice cream. A good wedding is never complete without the cutting of the splendid multi-level wedding cake, when the happy new couple gets to playfully shove and smear cake and white frosting into each other’s smiling faces. Everyone knows that as a child, the only good part about going to the dentist is getting the candy bar at the end of the visit. Why do some people get sick after eating too much suger? Some people do not even know that the abuse of sugar can lead to negative effects on your body. There is something strangely enjoyable and resplendent about the consumption of sugar. Why is it that sugar is so deliciously enjoyable and at the same time a food product that has many negative affects on people’s health?
Some people may not like Texas outlaws and I didn’t think I did either. The most interesting Texas outlaw in my opinion is Billy the Kid. The reason I think he is so interesting is that he was such a young outlaw and committed many of his crimes at a young age.
