The wind howls loudly throughout the neighborhood, quickly passing through the blue-green locks of the green eyed male. This male continues to un-weed the small garden in front of his seemingly two story house. As the wind picks up, a loud scream echoes across the long street. “Ace! I got the seeds!” The green-eyed male, known as Ace, turns around with a smile on his face, happy to see something other than dirt, bugs, and plants. As the child approaches Ace, his face becomes clearer. The child has large blue eyes, and his turquoise hair seems to shine in the sun. A smile is evident on both of their faces, happy to be near each other, even if they were sweating like pigs. “Hi, Wendell. I’ll take the seeds; …show more content…
He steps into the shower and quickly washes his body. Scars litter the eight-year-old’s body, reminding him of the horrible nights he’s spent being abused by one of the people he thought he could trust. Wendell walks into his room and throws on a random outfit: boxers, khaki shorts, and a black tank top. After throwing on socks and shoes, the child runs into the kitchen and opens the fridge. “Does it matter what flavor of lemonade?!” He yells across the house. “Surprise me!” The blue-eyed male grabs a large pitcher of pink lemonade and two small glasses before running back to his twin brother. Ace puts the last of the seeds in the ground before taking a glass and smiling at the younger twin. They pour themselves a glass before sitting down on the porch and allow themselves to relax after a long day of labor. Ace looks over at his brother, staring especially at the scars on his body. “I’m so sorry, W.” Said male looks up, confused as to why his brother be apologizing, along with why he would be calling him by his nickname. “Sorry for what? You haven’t done …show more content…
GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE!” The twins bolt up, immediately shaking at the sound of their father’s angry voice. They both slowly travel down the stairs, only to regret it as they see an annoyed, angry adoptive-father standing there with a knife. As soon as he spots them, he grabs their arms and drags them down the stairs, toward the basement. “I should’ve never adopted you dumb fucks. The only reason I did was because chicks love kids. Now that I’ve already found someone, you’re no longer needed.” As they reach the bottom of the stairs, the twins notice a busty woman standing next to a large heater. Their father ties their hands behind their back before giving the woman the knife. She holds over a lighter, allowing the handle to heat up. “What’re you doing?!” Ace screams, fear evident in his eyes. “None of your business, fucktard!” The man kicks Ace in the gut before throwing him toward the other side of the room. “Shitheads, meet your new mom. She’s gonna help me dispose of your bodies after I murder you. I’m done with you both and if I send you back, you might
Looking out across the stone-paved road, she watched the neighborhood inside the coffee colored fence. It was very similar to hers, containing multiple cookie-cutter homes and an assortment of businesses, except no one was there was her color and no one in her neighborhood was their color. All of them had chocolate skin with eyes and hair that were all equally dark. Across the road to her right, a yellow fence contained honey colored people. She enjoyed seeing all the little, squinted almond eyes, much smaller then her own, which were wide set and round. One little, sunshine colored boy with dark straight hair raised his arm and waved his hand, but before she could do the same back her father called her into the house. His lips were pressed and his body was rigid, the blue of his eyes making direct contact with her
Isolated without her child. Christopher and his dad are now known as the kinsmen in the building. When the three of them came organized and all things went smoothly. Since the three of them haven’t seen each other for an actual long time. Apart from that everything went fine. Mom found a new mall house and dad lived in the same house he has always lived. “And mother was standing behind him so I didn’t scream. Then he came bit closer to me and he crouched down like you do with dogs to show that you are not an aggressor and he said “I watched to ask you how the exams went.” (page 215). “then he came back through and gave me the dog. And he said, “he’s two months old. And he’s a golden retriever.” (page 219). “And I went to a bookshop with mother and I bought a book called Further Math’s for A level and father told Mrs. Gascoyne that I was going to take A Level further math’s next year and she said ok."
They tried desperately to remain alive by roaming as nomads looking for shelter, edible food, and avoiding the “bad guys” from preying on them for food. The unconditional love between the father and son sustained their struggle to live and try to stay ethical as possible. The father and son search for shelter and food in idle commercial stores and the son encounters many dead bodies and questions whether they were also going to die. The boy is paralyzed by the adversity and suffering he had faced throughout his ruthless journey with his father. The boy questions his fate.
One of the first houses the pair enters during their journey is the father's childhood home. To the father, seeing his home brings back memories of what his life was like as a boy. This scene makes the father feel upset, as he knows his child will never get to experience a normal childhood like he did. The father reminisces on what life was like before the disaster. “On cold winter nights when the electricity was out in a storm we would sit at the fire here, me and my

“He looked at them and they were all dead. Their leaves had turned a suffocant brown. The tightly packed branches showed through like skeletons of half-dismembered corpses. And then his daddy had burst out of the Overlook’s big double doors, and he was burning like a torch.” Danny wakes up, filled with terror. He has to find his dad before he finds him and his mom, before the once sane father tries to get rid of his family, stuck in an isolated hotel.
And Mother said, “I left for a reason I didn't ever really want to leave but I had no choice by then.”
To begin with, Jeanette is in an accident where, at the age of three, she is seriously burned and must go to the hospital. After being there for six weeks, her father decides to make a surprise visit,
He gets off the hospital bad and shuffles to the door, with one thing on his mind. Find Maddie. He opens the door greeted with the only thing he ever wanted to see.
“Wow!”, Jacob exclaims glancing at the alarm clock at his bedside, “1:00 already? Boy did I sleep in!” The boy groggily shuffled out to bed and opens his door, letting it hit against the wall with a soft thump. As he made his way to the stairs, Jacob noticed his mother walking up the steps, a basket of clothes hugged against her body. “Morning sleepy head, finally decided to wake up?”
After getting in a fight with his mom the night before the trip, he is sent to sleep in the attic, where he makes the wish that he could just get rid of his family. When he wakes up in the morning, he realizes that no one is home, and he has the house to himself. He is shocked, surprised but thrilled that his wish came true. Rather than being frightened like the typical child, he looks at the situation as more of a celebration, and does nothing but take advantage. He runs around the house yelling, jumps on his parents bed, eats junk food, watches movies he isn’t typically allowed to watch, goes through his older brothers room, and uses his father’s shower products.
She peeked through the crack of the cupboard, only to see the horrific sight of her parents and brother being dragged out of the house in handcuffs and chains. Suddenly, when a flea bites Lily between her toes, she flinched. Soldiers looked back immediately and one soldier signaled the other to check the kitchen. He stepped closer to the cupboard, reached out his arm and pulled the door. Lily froze, her heart skipped a beat and her palms were pale as unripe white grapes.
"You stupid bitch. You 're so fucking stupid. You deserve to be alone. You 're dumb. You 're ugly and horrible. You 're an awful monster and no one will ever love you. You 're just stupid and worthless. Why do you bother living? No one wants you. No one will ever want you. You 're a burden and you drag everyone down. You make everyone miserable. You 're fat and disgusting."
"For God's sake mum give it a rest, I am sick of you and your do-good
