Nevertheless, the media should focus on portraying Latino Americans as American citizens who are ordinary people like other ethnic groups. Overall, although, it is a challenge for Latin American filmmakers to transform the stereotypical roles created by Hollywood, continuing to do so, will allow them to accurately depict the Latin American community.
