WOW what foul language corey is saying towards his mom! I’ve noticed many ways parents treat and take care of their children throughout the years. This lack of “great” parenting, which is not really “great” is something that has been criticized for many years. In my first year of school, when I was in kindergarten many students acted different than me. Some students treated the teacher differently and gave attitude to them, while other students were very nice and cooperative with the teacher. “ Stop it and leave me alone!!!” screamed a friend of mine to Mrs. Johnson a kindergarten teacher . Lack of respect can be viewed in many different ways and it 's different for each individual. Lack of respect is to not respect a specific individual the way they should be. “ Shut Up mom I do what I want ” said my cousin Edwin. It is sometimes considered as disrespectful, which means to be insolent with someone in an act or be offensive towards them. Lack of respect comes from the word respectful and lack means to not give enough. You are not give enough respect to that specific person. I love my mom and she is always great helping me with homework. I always say thank you to her because I appreciate it and she taught me that when someone helps me I need to say thank you. These are called manners and are lacked by many students and many adults. Manners are taught by your parents as a child and if they are not taught it leads to disrespect. In my third year of school I was in second grade and one of my friends slapped the teacher in the arm during group work. Mrs. Johnson was a great teacher and I saw she was just trying to help my friend Luis but he didn 't appreciate it and he hit her. I asked Luis “why did you do that?”. “ I always hit my mom and sometimes even leave my food at on the floor and table without picking up for myself and she pays no meaning to it” he said.
