How To Keep Mice Under Control When You Fear Rodents And Traps If you can't stand the sight of a mouse, you'll want to take quick action when you suspect you have one. The last thing you want is for a mouse to get comfortable in your home and invite all his friends to move in too. If you're afraid of mice, you probably won't be able to set snap traps and empty them. You may find the whole idea of it too ghastly. If that's your situation, you should hire a professional to get rid of the mice and help you protect your home from further invasion. This is what you can expect. Setting Lots Of Traps The exterminator will probably set up a variety of traps around your home. The more traps the better when dealing with several mice. That way, they'll be killed off before they have time to become suspicious of the traps. You'll have to put up with traps indoors and outdoors until the invasion is over, but you won't have to worry about emptying the traps or dealing with dead bodies. The exterminator will check the traps and empty them or exchange them on a regular basis. …show more content…
Your exterminator may use those, but if you have kids, a cat, or a small dog, snap traps may cause you to worry about them being injured. There are other options to try such as tunnel traps and even cage traps that capture the mice alive. These allow the mice to enter, but the entry is too small for a pet to get
The story Jumping Mouse is a Native American tale that is told with many central themes in mind. The story was most likely told to a wide ranged age group. So with the multiple themes it most likely was design to touch home with all ages in some form or another. One of the more central themes however was the importance of the situations and animals that help Jumping Mouse on his journey. The animals that he meets are much the same as people and situations we have met or well meet in our lifetime.
"And all the families of the families of the families of that one mouse! With a stamp of your foot, you annihilate first one, then a dozen, then a thousand, a million, a billion possible mice!"

These are some grounds why skunk removal is essential. Skunks will fill their den sites with insulating materials such as leaves, paper, bread bags, and feathers, anything that will make their stay pleasant through the winter. Their den places are commonly close to food origins. In suburban areas skunks will excavate yards to acquire grubs and other insects to consume, eating more before winter to increase fat stores. Trapping is effective and fun! Think about it as going fishing (catch and release, of course). To get started, purchase a groundhog trap with a spring-loaded door. I was so amazed with this information that I couldn’t wait to burst one of those little nuisances myself. It’s weird because I don’t ever kill insects. I don’t have the heart to. I believe that just like humans they have their own lives and have the right to live. I don’t even kill flies. I guess that is because they don’t bite or physically pester me. Every once in a while I’ll find a lizard roaming in my house. When I find myself in a situation like this, I’ll open the nearest window or door and push or lead it out with a broom. Small lizards I actually catch with my bare hands. Besides, I’m happy they eat flies and lizards. I don’t support or use bug spray (I think it’s completely cruel).

Both of these stories were created to tell a story about why cats and mice hate each other. This shows that no one really knows why cats and mice hate each other so they created legends to tell why. An overall theme for these two legends is learning who to trust. In both stories the rat or mouse is either not trusted or was not trusting. This essay will describe the similarities and differences between “How Cats and Mice Became Enemies” and “Cat and Rat.”
