I admire Katy Perry as a human with a great sense of humor. In songs, in statements, and in her approach, she is a big fan of mocking and self-mocking. In this post, I have decided to outline the top 4 Best Jokes (in my opinion) expressed by Katy Perry. Let's get started.
Katy Perry: Top 4 Best Jokes
Number 1: Katy Perry and Obama Joke
While communicating with her fans on Snapchat, Katy Perry threw an Obama joke in response to her fan's statement about missing her old black hair. Apparently, not everyone understood the joke, and some even called Perry a racist. However, I personally think that there was nothing wrong with the joke, and Obama himself probably liked it (as he was clearly praised in the message).

Number 2: The Flute Joke
Back in 2011, the video "Katy Perry Fails at Playing Flute" went viral. Many people believed that the singer tried to fake playing the instrument and failed. However, to me, the whole incident seems like a nicely staged joke. Again, it outlines creativity and the high EQ level of the singer.

I, however, see a good amount of irony and lightness hidden behind Katty Perry's sense of humor. During one of the Red Carpet ceremonies, Perry made a remark about how she is taking care of herself and "she hasn't shaved her hair yet." Obviously, everyone saw the statement as one which patronized Brittney Spears. And, indeed, it was one. Although, I believe the joke was innocent. I am sure Perry didn't mean to hurt anyone.

Number 4: My Globes
This one is simple. The famous celebrity joked about bringing her "globes" to the 2016 Golden Globes event. Katy doesn't seem too modest, as one might notice.

All of mans behavior comes from somewhere in the universe, but the most important is how we control our emotions. Perry's life story brought him a sense of humor and wisdom to belong deeply to both the community and the land. He shows his responsibility as a fireman saving the lives of women and children, maybe this is the best way he could express his manliness. Perry States, "There is an undeniable thrill in fighting fire. at some level most of us have a perverse hanger for danger, a desire to be tested, to survive fire-a trial by fire literally."
Trina’s intent was to create a song that liberated women from the double standards and stereotypical views placed upon them. Her song however can cause harm to young women that listen to take this song to heart. Instead of liberation, we are moved further down into the hole of degrading and devaluing women. Trina should’ve sent the message that these things were wrong. Instead she endorsed and encouraged them.
As Tina Fey learned throughout her life, being able to laugh at yourself is a key component to success. In her 2011 book, Bossypants, Tina Fey constantly pokes fun at herself, but in the best way possible. She discusses her childhood, her awkward stages of growing up, and some of her most embarrassing moments as an adult. By utilizing self-deprecating humor, Tina Fey makes her novel amusing and entertaining—something that contributed greatly to her success as a comedian.
Kate is in a rage, and Petruchio is so clever-witted that he turns all her insults into sexual innuendos before finally having her forced into marrying him, but what makes this laughter thoughtful? From Kate’s lashes, you are able to truly see just how vulgar and unhappy she is. She is wild, but she is also quite clever in her quick responses. On the opposite end, Petruchio’s character is shown. He is quick-witted as well, yet more crude. He takes joy in dishing out his “attacks” whereas Katherine becomes even more enraged. He’s finally determined to make her his wife, no matter
Taylor continues to maintain her clean appearance by making wise attire decisions. Her consciousness of being a role model and inspiring young girls is a decision that she chooses to permanently tattoo into her mind. On a special for 60 Minutes, she tells Leslie Stahl that when she gets dressed in the morning, she thinks of the opinions of the millions of fans that have confided in her (Swift). She is aware that something as simple as a wardrobe choice is something that makes young women look up to her. A single provocative piece of clothing she chooses to wear has the ability to alter the dressing styles for girls, but she does not try to experiment with risqué choices. Taylor knows that her clothing choices are being monitored from such a young audience, and she does not find this a challenging task. In an older interview for Glamour Magazine she states that it is easy for her to keep her clothes on and refuses to take them off (Swift). Swift expresses no intent to exposes flesh because she wants to ...
An example would be when Kim is gloating “I was the number one google search last week, and yesterday I was the top AOL search for the whole week” (Keeping up with the Kardashians tv show). There is another case where Kourtney makes fun of Kim and tells her “did you know you were the top 2 in the dumbest people list from the New York post” (Keeping up with the Kardashians Tv show). Kim does not care about the fact she responds by saying so long as they are talking about her. Kim seems to care a lot about her social status she wants her name on the social network everywhere and she does not care what it’s for. On the other hand she has shown to care what people think about her physically. She believes she needs to look and be perfect at all times as is shown in the tv series when Khloe spins her on a couch she throws a fit because her make-up was running down her face and leaves the living room. Khloe continuously makes fun and criticizes Kim telling her she is so full of herself and up her own ass. As the conversation continues Kim asks if there is going to be someone at her photoshoot tomorrow to give her a manicure. Khloe then makes fun of her and says “I have a photoshoot tomorrow, I need a golden egg daddy, daddy I want it now: (dailymotion.com). Ultimately Kim is showing that she worries too much about her image and popularity status on the media. Kim presents herself
funny about a non-funny topic. Later in the story, she slightly laughts at the girls rape
A large stage with a large sound reinforcement system and liberally seasoned with lighting, thick music filling the air; this is the setting for many popular concerts. Paris, 24th November 2014, the stage is set. With the audience plunged into darkness, the only light is from the flashing of glow sticks, the crowd start to chant and then the show begins. The lighting erupts into life along with the music and dancers take centre stage. A voice then announces the entrance of Lady Gaga and, rising from a platform underneath the stage, she greets the crowd and starts performing her first song. She demonstrates a highly polished performance with choreographed dancing and sequenced lighting; nothing has been left to chance. This video (Angel 'sMusic,
Katy is mimicking the Ancient Egyptian Queen Cleopatra by the way she carries herself. The men bringing the Queen gifts depicts the stereotypical way of how men try to win a woman’s heart by offering them a gift. The music video pocks fun at this by having Katy Perry transform each man who delivers her a gift into an object relevant to their gift, because just offering a gift is not enough for a powerful woman like Perry. Another example of the use of symbolism in the music video was when Perry sings “Are you ready for? Ready for? A perfect storm? Perfect storm?” The “perfect storm” represents the conflict between Perry’s personalities. She is the girl of the men’s dreams, but at the same has the power to crush them if she is crossed in
The rest of this first conversation between Kate and Petruccio is riddled with sexual innuendos, clever word choices and it is this feature of the dialogue that can easily lead readers (or viewers in the case of a stage performance) to see this play as a farce. To further exemplify the wit and absurdity of the Petruccio/Kate dynamic, one could look at a scene later in the play where
