I am writing on the behalf of the 8th grade class at Monticello Trails Middle School to get a book about Kansas added the Goodnight book series. Many underestimate Kansas, but with your help, we can show people how amazing Kansas really is. Kansas is one of the four states without a Goodnight story. We know you don’t accept submissions, but by adding a Kansas book to your collection, it is sure to bring a smile to all of the Kansas citizens. We hope that you will take our ideas into consideration. Kansas is so much more than farmers, we have lots of things to offer. Kids will be able to read about Schlitterbahn, a water park with the tallest water slide in the world. We have a location that you can’t get anywhere else, the middle of our country.
You can only find that in Lebanon Kansas. Another thing Kansas owns is Dorothy’s house from the Wizard of Oz, a fun and classic tale. The original house resides in no other than Liberal Kansas. Also, all of the illustrations and writing pieces are written and drawn by thirteen and fourteen year olds from MTMS. We included all of our creative ideas that will really speak out to a younger audience. There are 203,000 kids under the age of five living in the Kansas area. This book could have a major impact on them, for example, gaining more appreciation for our state. This might be a special child’s first book they ever read on their own, wouldn’t you want to be the one to offer them that milestone? Just think about how much money those kids can bring in for your company! By having a Goodnight Kansas book, kids nationwide will be able to experience all of the wonders of Kansas. Kansas is so unique, and deserves a Goodnight book. We are looking forward to hearing you back here at Monticello Trails Middle School. We hope you take our ideas into consideration, to make a book that represents such a beautiful state. If you have any questions or would like to speak more about this proposal, you can contact me using the email below or the school’s email. Thank you very much for taking the time to read our proposal.
Dally you should not even think about killing yourself it will not solve anything and will only make thing worse for everybody who cares about you. I know that you will not believe this and think that the world is horrible and is not worth living in but I promise you that there is still good in the world. I know that you will say that there is not and that I am naive, but I was not the only one to see this even Johnny saw it as he was dieing. He wanted me to try to point this out to you but I knew that you would need more than just me and Johnny's persuasion so I got word from all of the gang and some idea of how to make things better.
In Kansas, he speaks to a farmer, who relays the transformation of American agriculture from subsistence farming to commercial farming via the tale of his family. The farmer’s deceased relative had only grown enough for his family and livestock. Additionally, the grandfather’s field had been the size of only one of his grandson’s fields. At this time, Kwon discusses one of the United States’ largest crops: corn. The host discusses the idea that corn is found in almost all prepackaged foods, and that it makes it possible to produce beef at an industrial scale, as it is fed to cows. Thus, American companies prove able to export beef around the world. Kwon continues the television program by discussing means to keep crop pests at bay, a task that the post-war chemical industry revolutionized. Today, there are 3,500 aerial crop-protection pilots in the United States, offering forty to fifty pesticide products. Farmers, in turn, hire these pilots to tend to pesticide issues. Additionally, as Kwon points out, farmers have begun to hire companies to harvest crops, and bees are sent around the country for the purposes of
Fort Morgan is a small town community with a small population. This means that it easy for community members to bond and know each other. One way that the people could bond is through books. More specifically, the One City One Book program. The One City One Book program is a way for the community to get together through discussions of a piece of literacy. The book that would be a good option to use is Enrique’s Journey because it is a nonfiction piece of work that has many lessons to teach people, and it is all through a story of a young boy’s journey. This program would benefit Fort Morgan with Enrique’s Journey because it enlightens the people of the community about the hardships other people have that are not in America, it is an educational

In 1919, farmers from thirty states, including Missouri, saw a need. They gathered in Chicago and formed the American Farm Bureau Federation. In 1919, they had one goal, they wanted to speak for themselves with the help of their own national organization. Since 1919, Farm Bureau has operated by a philosophy that states: “analyze the problem of farmers and develop a plan of action for these problems” (Missouri). In the past 94 years, the A...
Corn soon became the crop of choice to Iowa farmers. They found that it was more resistant to disease than the other crops they were growing, such as barley, oats, wheat, and apples. With this newfound “wonder crop”, Iowans found that farming had become the ideal way of life. Working on the farm involved all of the members of the family, which brought them together and made them stronger through hardships and great opportunities.

Louisiana has several magazines that focus on food and drink but I have to admit that one of my favorites is Louisiana Cookin'. They produce some of the most amazing recipes and spotlight places, dishes and drinks throughout the state of Louisiana.
How are you? Father? Are you doing fine? It’s almost Christmas, I wish I can spend the Christmas with you. Oh, I’m at Hawaii right now to spread Christianity to the Hawaiian. The Hawaii’s weather is very nice, maybe you should come to Hawaii. The Hawaiians’ lifestyle is very different from ours. They wears very short dress and clothing, they are going to be in hell. The important thing is that the Hawaiian have no school, there are no education available for lower class only for the ali’i. Anyway I going to tell you what we the missionaries change on the Hawaiian islands.
According to The Chicago Tribune “Close to 3,000 people have been shot in Chicago so far this year.”In 2016 chicago homicide rate was at an all time high, last year there have been reported 762 people died from gun violence,”3,550 shooting incidents, and 4,331 shooting victims.”Hundreds of people have died from gun violence every year and also a portion of the murder rate is made up of innocent people that have also died from a firearm violence. Also in the united states the number of fatalities from a firearm were “33,594” according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.I believe we should ban the use of firearms because the number of people that die or get injured from a firearm keeps dangerously increasing each year.
Settlers from the eastern United States and from faraway European countries brought many different farming traditions to Kansas when the land was opened for settlement in 1854. These people also often brought seeds from their homes. Many farmers planted corn and experimented with planting oats, cotton, tobacco, and grape vineyards. These crops did not grow as well as wheat in Kansas.
