In this paper, it will analyse the implementation of language, Literacy and numeracy (LL&N) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) training in an employment services organisation to improve employability of clients. The analysis will examine the organisational factors impacting on the implementation, key features of LL&N and TESOL, effects on clients and the organisation and obstacles to the implementation.

Workskil Inc is a provider for Job Services Australia (JSA), Youth Pathways, Work for the Dole programs, Community Work Coordinator organisation, Personal Support Program, and Job Placement, Employment and Training programs. Job Services Australia is the Australian Government employment services system that supports job seekers and employers. A network of providers delivers this employment service across Australia (Workskil, 2014).
Currently on Kangaroo Island there are no Registered Training Organisations (RTO) who delivery LL&N courses to support students or participants requiring this course. The Kangaroo Island case worker needed to address a client's employment barriers of limited English language, the learner. Fortunately another client had the educational training in LL&N and TESOL, the teacher.

A one teacher approach to vocational subjects and lifelong learning skills has negative consequences to literacy, ESOL and numeracy qualifications. The best approach is from a team of staff expert in their own area of expertise working closely together.

My own attitudes, values and beliefs towards children learning and development are to be sensitive and easy approached. Have friendly staff that relates to children well and are friendly and vetted. To have a structure routine so that children know what they are doing so they are not stressed out.
