Conferring to preceding analysis and research on juvenile delinquency, a child has one or more risk factors that make them more susceptible to engaging in antisocial behaviors, with family interactions being one of the main causes. The research paper will identify several causal factors of juvenile delinquency using previous studies and reports. It will expand on the idea that single parents inevitably increase the likelihood of an adolescent becoming involved in antisocial behaviors. It will thoroughly discourse the prominence of moral guidance and supervision that is needed in order to provide a structured home. This research is paramount because it opens community awareness and helps juvenile delinquency professionals to provide services of invention. In order to aid in the prevention of juvenile delinquency, one must first understand the underlying causes of antisocial behaviors Conferring to preceding analysis and research on juvenile delinquency, a child has one or more risk factors that make them more susceptible to engaging in antisocial behaviors. Juvenile delinquency is described as wrongful or delinquent acts that are committed by the youth. Juvenile delinquency can be displayed through two types of behaviors which include status and delinquent offenses. Status offense are offenses that are only prohibited because of a minors age and are only applied to them. Delinquent offenses are crimes that are committed by minors and that go through the juvenile court system or justice system.
