Mark Antony changed the minds of many with his intelligents. In the play Julius Caesar, written by William Shakespeare. The protagonist Julius Caesar is planned to be assassinated on the ides of March by Cassius and Marcus Brutus. After the brutal killing of Julius Caesar, Mark Antony confronts the killers, and asks Brutus to speak at Julius Caesar’s funeral. When it was time for Brutus’s speech, the people of Rome chose Marcus Brutus’s side. In addition, when Mark Antony stated his speech, the residents of Rome believed that Cassius and Brutus were murderers. Two years later Antony, Octavius Caesar’s cousin, and a good friend of Julius Caesar’s Lepidus, made a death list of people who killed Caesar. This quote shows that the citizens of Rome are no longer encouraged by Cassius and Brutus. In addition, Mark Antony uses his intelligence to make a plan to make Rome loathe Brutus and Cassius. Mark Antony stated,” There shall I try in my oration how the people take the cruel issue of these bloody men”(Shakespear 46). This states Mark Antony is intelligent enough to construct a speech for Caesar’s funeral to recognize Cassius and Brutus as slaughterers. Therefore, Brutus and Cassius are hated and hunted by Rome. Antony’s intelligents brought justice to Caesar and Rome.Mark Antony persuaded a multitude of people with his words. The people of Rome stated, “ Hear Antony, most noble Antony”(Shakespeare 54). This quote shows that Antony pulled the Roman’s to Antony’s side, not Brutus’s. As a result, Brutus lost all of his followers and now the people think Brutus and Cassius were Julius Caesar's murderers. Succeeding Mark Antony’s speech, Romans started stating, “Most noble Caesar!
