I can now understand why you were so shocked when you discovered almost nobody had seen this show. I understand how and why it is one of the more commonly known plays. This was an overall great show. Although it was a super long show with many scenes I didn’t feel were needed, I loved it all, especially the singing and the choreography The props were very well thought out and I loved the unexpected scenes of events towards the end. This show was all around a lot of fun to watch. At first I was very taken back by the clothes and the accents that were going on, but as the show went on they both grew on me. I loved Will’s accent the most and I feel like he fit that character perfectly. Jud did almost too good acting his part and Curly definitely would have won me over too. The coolest part about the show was definitely the moving stage. I was totally amazed at the idea and with how well it worked for every reason they used it. It was by far the best way i’ve seen a show change scenes. Every single detail on all the props, from Aunt Eller’s house to Jud’s shack, was perfectly made for the show. Every person in the show has such an amazing talent for both singing and dancing. I give them all a pat on the back for not only being able to sing or dance, but for doing them both simultaneously. I am still in shock as to how Will jumped perfectly on the rolling bin without falling or even looking like he struggled in the slightest bit. The scenes where everybody was singing together were by far my favorite. I’m a sucker for hearing perfect harmony, and it happened multiple times in this play. It occurred when Jud and Curly sang together and it literally made me stop taking notes to watch them sing together because it sounded so good.
