Mara was aware that Violet was with Aleister and Lorelei, and she was also aware that James Stirk's suspicions had drawn him out of his study in search of his daughter. The little minx was well on her way to disobeying Mara's instructions, even if she was led to it. What would a demon do ... punish her for it, no doubt, in one way or the other. Would it be punishment to allow Stirk to see his daughter partaking in the sort of hedonistic activities as was taking place in her tower? Would Stirk take the likeliest path of attempting to curtail his daughter's exploration, despite the proof of history and the fact that he could forbid all he liked but his power to enforce his demands were severely limited? Would Violet set herself against her father in an also age-old bid for independence, to live by her own will? It was an interesting question, and certainly she could do much to influence events. Green eyes sparkled with amusement, and hunger, as her fingers curved under, save for the index, which went softly seeking, pushing between the slick, sodden folds, passing tenderly over the little nub and continuing on, only to return, beginning a lazy circle. "Look what I found." Lorelei laughed softly as she felt Violet's body react, saw it on her face.
