Recommended: What role of teacher
The meaning of “teacher” according to some dictionaries: is a person who teaches especially at school while “student” is a person who studying at a university or other place of higher education.
It’s normal that students learn from teachers but this ‘’topic’’ in our days has changed because some teachers do not have right diplomas or degrees. Some teachers are not concerned with what they teach the students or even sometimes they do not show up for lessons. In my opinion this way that they have chosen, is making the students lazy .For this reason, some of them are not inspired and do not even try to take good marks.
Students often neglected school because the lessons are not so attractive and teachers are the ones who should show to them that the school is a place you go to study. Sadly, some teachers join the students neglect.
Generations are changing every day. Now a day’s going to school and going to a bar, is the same thing. Especially, some of the university students just go to school when the teachers take roll and they skip the next class. While the teachers in the university are not interested if everyone is present like in high school or middle school. That is why, it is better to be a teacher in the university than a student. Unfortunately, corruption still exists in some countries and one of these countries is Albania. Students can buy their grades like they were buying snacks in a candy store. This method favors the teachers who doo this things.
In primary school, it is completely different because teachers do more activities to entertain the children. They do these things to attract their attention. Children learn a lot of new things and they are very interested in what their teacher explains. In my opinion, elder...

...her is very hard, but the pleasure you take teaching someone it cannot be replaced by anything else. Not only the students learn from the teacher but also the teachers learn from the students. I think that it is such a great pleasure to be part of the students’ first step towards an unknown world. Then you feel s proud that you made that student s strong that he or she can take care of themselves in a not far away future.. They always are the second parent because they are always ready when the students need help. Good teachers practice their work not for money, but because they really enjoy it.
To sum up, “teacher and teaching” or “student and study” are connected together and they should work like a machine because if a piece is missing or is broken, the machine will not work. They should be together because this will lead to better teachers and better students.
Because the education system does not relate classwork or homework to the lives of students, they do not see how writing essays or solving math problems can help them in everyday life. “By the time Roadville children reach high school they write off school as having nothing to do with what they want in life, and they fear that school success will threaten their social relations with people whose company they value. This is a familiar refrain for working class children” (Attitude 119). As students begin to realize how low their potential is within school, they chose to cut school out of their life and start working. These students do not understand how they can benefit from what they are learning. “One woman talks of the importance of a ‘fitting education’ for her three children so they can ‘do better’, but looks on equanimity as her sixteen-year-old son quits school, goes to work in a garage, and plans to marry his fifteen-year-old girlfriend ‘soon’” (Attitude 118). Students are settling for less than what they can actually achieve to have, just because they see no purpose of being in school, and believe they can do better without the help of the education system. Even parents are not actually supporting and encouraging their child to stay in school. “Although Roadville parents talk about the value of school, they often act as if they don’t believe it”
... remove their negative thoughts and they should not rely on teachers alone. They should learn from the teacher while he or she learns from the entire students”.
When a teacher stops caring a student stops caring because they believe the teacher does not care about them or their education. Rose said “you 're defined by your school as slow”(155). Importance is a big aspect of a student’s growing process, but id the teacher is bored, they won’t think they are important enough. Gatto said “as school personnel they are trapped inside structures, even more rigid than those imposed upon the children”(142). Students should always feel important and the more important they feel than the better and harder they will work in school. Students and teachers are both stuck, and in order to have a successful school system we must have happy teacher. To bring exciting lesson plans and less bored students, we need happy teachers, in order to have happy teachers the government needs to allow teachers to teach how they
All at the same time teachers manage groups, manage activities and manage learning within the class. They lead discussions, guide the main tasks and modify active participations of pupils ideas and engage within their ideas. By adapting to the needs of each pupil they would create a positive prospect of learning.
Schools are supposed to be second homes. It goes without saying that students should feel safe, comfortable, and happy at school. They're all there for the same reason. They're all stuck in the same boat of studying for the same diploma exams and going to the same assemblies.
Teachers are one of the most important aspects of a school. While children are at the school, teachers are required to not only teach the course material but guide in the development of their students. Throughout the course and its corresponding class, education 200, we have discussed many different styles of teaching to a variety of different learners. Through the exploration of many theorists, different case studies, and class discussion, I have learned many aspects that will benefit me in my future teaching.
As an education major at State College, I’ve decided to become a teacher for several reasons. As I progressed through elementary, middle, and high school, many of my teachers were great role models for me. This has inspired me to become a role model for someone in the near future. My love for science and math has also influenced my desire to teach and make a difference in a child’s life. I want to teach students the subjects that I love so much. I want the feeling that I helped a child accomplish or learn something they couldn’t understand. One of the main reasons I want to become an educator is because I feel education has really lost teachers who truly love teaching and those who truly love teaching and those who have the desire to make a difference. I feel I can really help make a difference in the education world and bring back the love to teach.
The overall essence of education or knowledge acquisition is reflected in an axiom by Confucius which says “Tell me, and I will forget; show me, and I will remember; but involve me, and I will understand. Back then, it was clear that learning was a comprehensive process which involves passionate exchanges between students and their teachers; unfortunately this is not the case in most modern classrooms. Instead of the expected bidirectional communication between learners and teachers, in the modern learning environment there is a unidirectional system which involves the teacher incessantly hurling facts at students who, due to their passive roles as mere receptacles, have fallen asleep or; in the case of “best” students are mindlessly taking notes. This leads to a situation where knowledge has neither been conferred nor acquired.
There is often a class that the teacher conveys his or her lectures the whole period of the class for the entire semester, and activities seldom occur. As a result, there is no contribution of observation or experience in learning. According to Dewey, learning by thinking which is an intelligent method of learning that happens when students could experience what they are learning (Dewey 559-560). In fact, it creates the connection between the material students tries to learn and their brain, which really inspires them in the subject. In addition, although, teachers provide problems for students to solve, which is supposed that our brain should be active, but actually the problem has a set answer, and there is only one way to solve it (Dewey 562-563). Then it is similar as what we can say the students is just imitating what already there. Observation and thinking would not likely be needed and creativity is swamped. Moreover, the educating style causes students misunderstand the goal of learning by exaggerating the importance of the grade in class which leads a student become a “cold-storage”, store the information that is needed for the examination. (Dewey 561-563). Instead of generating the material to one’s own brain’s language that can be used properly, the education system causes student stress with too many examinations
I have decided to become a teacher because I love children. I enjoy watching them grow, and I want to make a difference in the lives of my students. As a teacher, I will do everything that I can to ensure that each becomes a productive, successful citizen in life. In order for me to obtain this goal, I will create a loving, positive, respectful, and safe learning environment where each student will be treated equally and be encouraged to do his or her best. Keeping this in mind, there are four elements that I must remember which includes (1) how young children develop, (2) what they should know and be able to do, (3) instructional strategies that I have learned, and (4) my feelings regarding parent involvement.
Furthermore, teachers need proper training and the preparation because if a teacher knows the material very well and gives the students a well-written lesson plan, then the students could know about what is being taught to them. For example, the students could notice about what their main focus is on the subject. Furthermore, when a teacher hands out a handout; then it gets very easy to follow during instructional time in the classroom. Therefore, that is when knowledge of learning and
Socrates, a famous philosopher, once said, “I cannot teach anybody anything; I can only make them think.” This quote is interesting in the fact that in modern times it is mandatory to go to school for a certain length of time to be taught in order to learn. We have teachers that share their knowledge with their students so that the generations to come can continue to grow and develop. When a student is asked what their teachers do at school they will most likely respond with something along the lines of, “they teach.” This response is both true and false to an extent. While the teachers can provide their students with knowledge, it is important for the students to do their part by using their minds to understand it for themselves. Socrates
Another major reason that students responded is that they had too much freedom and not enough rules. In other words, they feel that they were able to do whatever they wanted. Therefore, they missed class whenever they pleased because they taught it was not important and that nobody would care. Teachers and school administrators need to be strict regarding to attendance. Students need to see that it is really important to attend school everyday so that they attend in a regular basis. The last major reason that students drop out school is that they fail in school and they give up. According to the report, students said that no one would help them when they were having trouble with something. They did not get any support from most of their teachers so they give up and drop out of school. I think that students who are failing a class are the ones that need more support since they tend to frustrate when they do not understand something. Tutoring sessions and help from the teacher it is very important to help students who are struggling with the material. In this way, students will find the material a little bit
To see a child accomplish a task is most satisfying and rewarding. A teacher holds the key to knowledge, success, and fun. Every child deserves a teacher that understands and accommodates different ability levels of each student. It is very difficult to pinpoint a specific method of teaching because so many styles and techniques are successful. Incorporating different methods may be effective.
Being a teacher is one of the most important jobs in the world. In today’s society, it is hard to be a teacher. Students need to have a teacher that has values and understands the importance of these values. A teacher is there to help
