International adoption Couples decide to adopt a child because they couldn't have a biological child themselves and most likely don't believe in fertility treatment but there are also other reason too. Soldiers and sailors sent to Europe during the war to Germany, Japan and, a little bit after 1945, Korea, Vietnam, and everywhere else in Asia. They produced surprising numbers of children in those countries. International adoption is a good thing because you will make a difference in a child's life. You will make such a positive impact on a child who is an orphan in other countries. Bring them into your home providing them a loving home and family for them. Something they haven't had or had but got taken away from them. Why are people so against international adoption is because some people do see that by internationally adopting in way you're a “robbing” a child from their cultures and identities. But I think that could be stopped if people who adopt from a different country they could talk to the kid about their cultures or even try to learn more about the culture and live up to that.
