Adoption Persuasive Speech

Let me start with the fact that Mac is lonely. He whines all the time, you even say so yourself. Well, that is simply because, as www.dogbreed.info.com puts it, dogs are pack animals, meaning they have an instinct to live among a group. It is not natural for dogs to be alone and it can sometimes be hard for them to accept it. Yes, I’ve done my research. It would be such a help to animals if we adopted them. If we did this, we would also benefit. I have a list of the steps you need to take to complete an adoption at EDCR.

First, you must complete an adoption application. Second EDCR will contact you to make sure you don’t have questions and to arrange a home visit. They will bring the dog to meet you and when you finally adopt them, they will bring him/her to your house for you. EDCR will provide you with all of the vet records, and the dog will be up to date on vaccinations and neutered. An adult dog costs

around $175 and a puppy costs around $300. I have raised over $350 to pay for the dog. I have been going on walks after school recently so that I could prove I won’t forget to walk him/her.
I would keep their crate in my room and their food bowl in my bathroom. Dogs from EDCR also have many other perks such as they, as I mentioned earlier, are neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

I try to play with him, and he wants nothing to do with me, and when he does seem the slightest bit interested in playing with me, Cassidy comes and steals him from me. Don’t you go telling me that it’s all in my head because both of you have agreed with that statement.
Dogs also, reduces stress, and cheer people up, I know that I am always stressed and I do have a short temper, so the dog will help with that, I know that we already have a dog, however, you need to have a bond with the dog for this to work.

Now, I know that you are thinking that I am ungrateful, and I’m not! I simply want Mac to have a companion, Chloe and me to have a dog that we can play with, to reduce stress and bad behavior in the house, and for this last reason. According to www.doghealth.com, Children with pets tend to be more balanced and responsible as they mature. Should you have more than one child, having multiple dogs will give each child a special friend. They can learn to be responsible for their special canine friend which, in turn, gives them feelings of confidence and security. We all know that this does not apply to six-year-olds like Chloe, but I will share the responsibility with her if you so desire, to make her a better and more responsible person. I know that this is a lot of information to take in, so here are the basic

perks:
I will pay for the dog’s crate, toys, and the dog itself.
The dog will come up to date on vaccinations and neutered, with all of their medical records.
The dog will have a home visit before we decided to adopt him/her and if we do, they will be dropped off at our house.
Mac needs a companion, it is unhealthy for a dog to be alone.
Two dogs aren't much harder than one.
I will take care of the dog with the help of Chloe if you wish for her to help. However, if she doesn't contribute I will be perfectly happy to take the responsibility all by myself.
Kids that own multiple dogs are more successful than kids that own one dog or none. For example, Paris Hilton who is a Fashion designer, Businessperson, Television producer, Entrepreneur, Film Producer, + more and, Reese Witherspoon who is a Businessperson, Film Producer, Actor, Voice acting
It will give Chloe and me a dog to play with.
Most dogs from EDCR will already be house trained.
And last but not least, it would reduce stress in the house.
I can think of plenty other reasons to get a dog, but that would take all day. Also keep in mind that we don’t need to get him/her at EDCR.
