Your Surroundings and How You Act When it comes to the topic of internal and external factors on the person you are, most of us will readily agree that your external factors have more of an affect than internal factors. Where this agreement usually ends, however is on the question of why would the environment change your behavior? Whereas most are convinced that external factors have a lot to do with your behavior, few people still maintain that internal factors are to blame. My feelings on the issue are mixed. I do be;ove that the external factors though have more of an impact on behavior, but I also believe that there are some internal factors that play a small part. In the book Lord of the Flies written by William Golding there is a bunch of little boy’s that were stranded on an island without any adults. They had to learn how to survive and take care of each other and survive. They did a pretty good job so far but they were still mean to a character named Piggy just because he was different than the others. I think that a lot of people need to have adult supervision to make sure that they do the right thing and treat people right.
