Integrated Business Experience (IBE) is an entrepreneurship experience program conducted by second year School of Business Management ITB students. It requires students to create and run their own business in one year. In first semester, students have to research and develop their product, they also have to make their business plan. In the end of semester, they have to pitch their idea to the bank to get a loan for running their business in the second semester. They are not allowed to start their business until they get a loan from bank. The banks already prepared by SBM ITB. Within four to five months in second semester, students are making and selling their product. At the end of second semester, they have to present their business report to the lecturer and bank.
Integrated Business Experience (IBE) curriculum is changing each year to keep the entrepreneur education up-to-date with the real trend. Within 3 years, IBE has changed the requirements and rules constantly. In 2011 and 2012 IBE program, each of IBE companies consisted of 20 students who was already chose by lecturer. They also only need to sell one product but they are not as free as the previous batch in choosing their product. There are new rules of rewards and penalties in choosing their product. If their product is bag, they will get 20 points reduction. If the product is accessories, it is 10 points reduction. They will get addition 10 points if their product is food or beverages and get 20 points addition if their product is tech-based product. There is no point added or reduced if their product has never been sold in IBE previously. These new rules are made to encourage students to create a new product and to avoid product
