In Frankenstein by Mary Shelley Frankenstein is passionate about bring back to life a human body. Frankenstein follows his instincts and brings back to life his creation. But Frankenstein was not satisfied with what he had created and turn down his creation. Throughout the book Frankenstein express the way he feels about his creation and how he makes him feel. The creation questions his existence in this world and why Frankenstein brought him back to life. Like Frankenstein many people in society decided to bring to life a human, but since it was not what they expect only reject the human or act like if they never existed. The central theme in Frankenstein and the society is not everything goes as you expect.

When the creature goes to find Frankenstein and learns to read and discovers papers of frankenstein working on him. On his journey he meets frankenstein and tells him to listen to what he has to say. But Frankenstein only insults him saying “wretch” and “insect.” However frankenstein refuses to listen to what his creation has to say to him. Shelley states, “ ‘Devil,’ I exclaimed, ‘do you dare approach me?.” In other words his asking his creation how dare he has confronts him after running his experiment. But the creation response to him, accepting his commands towards him. The author Shelley writes, “ ‘All man hate the wretch; how, then, must I be hated, who am miserable beyond all living things!.” Shelley is saying how the creature is explaining that if his own creator hates him, than all man in the society have a reason to feel disgust towards him too. The people in the society are having children, but since it did not come as expected decided to treat horrible, abuse their power, not give them an education, or not care about their feelings. Like Frankenstein he made his creation feel like wretch and dust and not treat him like a human being like everyone else. The world as well do not realize they are treating innocent people like the creation in Frankenstein and only hurting their feelings. Their innocent people that have not hurt anyone else and are paying the price of their creator
