Inerrancy
According to Vic Reasoner “inerrancy means that the bible, as originally given, was free from error and that the human authors accurately recorded what God said. If the bible contains errors, its authority is limited.” Which simply means the bible is accurate and the writers of the bible are telling god's word without contradicting themselves or deviating from the real truth as God intended. With that being said, do you believe that inerrancy is claimed in the bible?
Inerrancy is claimed throughout the bible nevertheless, the bible itself is proven to be infallible. The term inerrancy is not found in the bible, but it is implied. “According to Proverbs 30:5 every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” since his word has been purified, it is completely reliable. Basically writers wrote God’s word and his word was to be shared with a 100% truth without error. Proof of this is referenced in Psalm 119:140 “your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.”

As being a child of God I realize that circumstances and difficult situations will sometimes occur. Nevertheless, my beliefs and understanding of God’s word and as continuously keeps me focus on walking by faith and not by sight. Now I am going to put the Old Testament to the test to see if it has credibility to be the trustworthy document that it claims. "Religion, if it is worth believing, must be based on facts. Yes, there is room for faith, but unless it is faith in facts, faith is not only useless but destructive .The Bible cannot afford to have historical errors.

Even though humans wrote the text, translating it and passing it down from generations to generations, God’s truth is unchanging. Debates of the inerrancy of the bible cannot usurp God as the King of grace. Instead of focusing on the inerrancy of the Bible, individuals who wish to seek a life of faith should focus on the inspiration God is showing them in his word. These revelations should move them into applicable, daily life changing implications from what they have learned. God shows revelations of himself through the Bible, and his character is revealed time and time again throughout scripture. Any faulty facts or discrepancies in grammar or data, should not take away from the value that scripture holds. The Bible is read and interpreted by many people all over the world. Regardless, no one knows the absolute truth behind scripture. Walter Brueggemann, professor of Old Testament, wrote “Biblical Authority” to help people understand what he describes as six different parts that make up the foundation to ones understanding of scripture. He defines these six features as being: inherency, interpretation, imagination, ideology, inspiration, and importance. As Brueggemann explains each individual part, it is easy to see that they are all interconnected because no one can practice one facet without involuntarily practicing at least one other part.

The Bible consists of many commandments that Christians should follow throughout life, but it can be complicated at times. The reason why following the commandments that are outlined in the Bible can be challenging is that of temptation. I wholeheartedly believe the idea that God had the bible created was to help Christians deal with different types of temptation.

This is a logical fallacy because if the bible is known for its good stories and its good fables, but most of the book contains things that are frowned upon by god himself.

The Bible is no different besides that you have to decipher it correctly. By reading other commentaries on that book or verse you can form your own exegetical hypothesis, but make sure it is a biblical one.

We have many tools to assist us in discerning whether something is biblical, but the most important is prayer or talking to God. We must not be swayed by what is popular or easy, but stick to the truths of the Bible. It is also important to look at the historical context in order to discern what the Bible says and use that to classify something as biblical or nonbiblical. We shoud always read the surrounding text to ensure that we get the correct interpretation of the text. By using the thought experiment, we can be assured that we adher to the original text meaning and convey that to our current audience.
