In the using of IT, I will be able to type easily than the normal paper, for example, I will be able to re-correct my spelling mistakes using the Microsoft word while I can’t erase or correct using the normal paper and re-write it on the paper. Using the IT I will be able to link, do correction thousand words or replace.
IT is divided into two main parties: SOFTWARE and HARDWARE tools:
Hardware:
Without the computer hardware I won’t be able to use the computer software for example I use monitor to be able to see and access my data, (edit it).
I use the keyboard to be able to type it, the mouse to be able to point on the screen and click or access my data by using the mouse arrow. USB to be able to save my data, edit it later and allow me to organise my files for example to create folders and sub-folders for my files.
Software:
Using the software’s like PowerPoint enable me to create and make my presentations better. To do a better presentation I will need to use the PowerPoint tools like animations, transitions, hyperlinks and master slides. Photoshop: Using the Photoshop tool I will be able to edit, enhance, animate and gather pictures for example bringing many pictures to gather and make

Task B – Reviewing techniques and evaluating
1 To be completed after the linked assignment.
2 Give a critical evaluation of the complete tasks identifying two strengths and two weaknesses that you find. Two strengths of PowerPoint:
• Prezi is not a typical slide based presentation tool, it allows to add and handle or control typically in a skilful manner plate the content of anywhere on the page .
• It’s free and online presentation tool and can access any web-enabled computer compare to PowerPoint presentation tool.
• Two weaknesses of PowerPoint: You can insert pictures, videos, audio, slides, animations and transitions.
• You can keep and save your confidential data using the PowerPoint presentation tool without need internet connection.
3
Evaluate the completed task. Give an example of how you would change the method used to improve productivity in the future.
I would have change and improved my photos using editing tools like Photoshop software and flash.
I would experiment the appropriate file type images suitable for the task like JPEG, JPG, GIF and PNG to improve the contents and contrasts of the
I have improved most in the WOVE area of visual communication this semester. Beginning the course, I did not know the correct way to create a powerpoint presentation that supports the speaker without being a distraction. This semester, I learned that only minimal wording is required on the slides to deliver the main points. The majority of the slideshow can be pictures, charts, or graphs, so long as it remains relevant to the topic. I specifically remember using this new technique for my part of the visual analysis presentation, keeping my bullet points to under five words, if possible.
Conversations are not the only benefit of a power point story; transitions are another confusing and often, difficult factor of writing. Transitions with a power point story are easy; they can be as simple as a new slide. It is now unnecessary to use terms like “the next day” or transitiona...
“In fact, some corporations, like 3M, are banning PowerPoint from their offices” (Wahl, 2003). Employees can learn through analyzing, interacting with others, and discussing. However, PowerPoint encourages presentation, not conversation. Bullet points summarize everything into a few words, leaving no area to analyze or discuss the information further. According to Julia Keller (2003) PowerPoint condenses information into a “preconceived format” (para. 8) that is one-sided based on the presenter’s view of the information. A case study of three PowerPoint presentations directed to NASA officials was conducted by Edward Tufte (2003), an American statistician and professor emeritus of political science, statistics, and computer science at Yale University, to provide evidence of the dangers in using bulleted outlines. The case study was summarized by the

When using slides, color contrast is another excellent way for a speaker to catch the audience’s attention! The C.R.A.P. design principles also can use shapes and symbols to convey a message. Visual elements using the four basic design principles are probably the most important pieces of information that should be carried through the presentation. Using visual elements, such as infographics, can contribute to how information can be remembered or memorized easiest by the audience. Images or infographics are great tools when promoting attention and retaining information. Images that are easy to comprehend, involve forming visual memories. They reinforce the process of memory recall and visual elements (Keogh,
If you ask people to name one of the most important technologies of the twentieth century, one of the answers would most certainly be the computer. A computer, however, is not a technology all to itself. Many other technologies went into the modern home computers of today, including the mouse. Douglas C. Engelbart, a worker at the SRI (Stanford Research Institute), invented the mouse in 1964. However, the process of the invention of the mouse was not instantaneous and without effect on the realm of computing and society. In this paper I will be examining the problems that had to be overcome and the technologies that had to be invented for the mouse to become a reality. It also analyzes the impacts it has had on society and the computer industry.
requires self-assessment and analysis of actions and calls for a change in order to improve
In this part of the assignment, I will be reviewing the strengths and weaknesses that were shown when I was using counselling skills on my client. I believe that there were more strengths when I was showing counselling skills compared to the weaknesses that there were.
The world’s technology advancements are quickly developing, thus, unquestionably, contributing to the extraordinary benefits obtained by students, parents, and educators. Students are provided an enhanced understanding of diverse subjects due to presentations, use of the Internet, and various programs, assisting them with projects, homework, tests, or merely general interest. Classroom computer use is certainly beneficial to parents as well. If a student does not have computer access at home to complete a project or essay, it could easily be completed on the classroom’s computer. This avoids any conflicts that may arise from families that do not have access to a personal computer. Teachers are able to easily compose a multimedia presentation to, not only help teach the class, but also to assist the pupils while taking notes and ensuring their understanding of the topic.
In simple terms, it's just a storage located remotely which you can access anywhere. It's like storing your files online and accessing it anywhere while using your laptop, mobile device or another PC.
Well I guess I’ll start off this paper by being outright honest. I have never done this type of self-assessment exercise. So I’ll start this paper off with what exactly this type of self-assessment is. These types of self-assessments are meant to help show the individual (me) where my strengths lie and also where my weaknesses are as well so that I may try and lean on my strengths while improving on my own shortcomings. Essentially the Johari Window four regions model that we learned about is a great tool for this assessment. The first region is also known as the open area, which essentially means that this is what is known by the person about him/herself and is also know by others. The second region is known as the blind area in which this is information unknown by the individual but is known by others. Which could be behaviors that an individual does but does not realize that they are doing them. The third window is known as the hidden area. This area is essentially information that only you know about yourself and others do not. The fourth area is known as the unknown area. It’s known as that because this is information that you and others do not know about you. It’s when you take a look at these four areas and see your strengths and/or weaknesses are at and if you allow yourself to become open to feedback you then can improve on your own shortcomings and become a better leader.
A word processor enables the user to create a document, store it electronically on a USB or on a computer, display it on a screen, modify or format it by entering commands and characters from the keyboard, and print it on a printer. What Application Software is Available?
The word processing capabilities of computers are amazing. They can automatically correct your spelling and grammar mistakes. The cutting and pasting features are incredibly simple and very useful for revision. Plus it is easier to read a word-processed document than one written by hand. Having a digital backup is an added benefit. All of these things help writers get the job done. If you want to add pictures to your writing, numerous software titles are available for desktop publishing. With desktop publishing, you can create page layouts for entire books on your home computer. For example, high school yearbook classes now use desktop publishing software for the creation and design
Long ago, people were simple and didn’t have many technologies. They used to take so much time in planning their projects, researching, and saving and recording their studying. Look around, this world changed a lot. There are cars, airplanes, computers, and many other technologies. Technology can be found everywhere, and we use depend on it a lot. One of the most important technologies is computers and laptops. Many people use them today in their daily lives and it eases many things for them.
Computers are forever present in the workplace. Word processors-computer software packages that simplify the creational and modification of documents-have largely replaced the typewriter. Electronic mail has made it easy to send messages worldwide via computer communication networks. Office automation has become the term for linking workstations, printers, database system, and other tools by means of a local-area network. An eventual goal of office automation has been termed the 'paperless office.' Although such changes ultimately make office work much more efficient, they have not been without cost in terms of purchasing and frequently upgrading the necessary hardware and software and of training workers to use the new technology.
