Society is an organization. Society is a network of relationship of human beings that possess this relationship as a result of interdependent goals and objectives. Some people may see society as a place where they are united to due to some common reasons and concerns about their policies, politics, culture, traditions, believes and values. However, one must view society as an essential part life, which they have to be a part of, as they cannot survive without that. For seeing society might just seem to be a place where people think they survive mutually or interactingly, while society is a structure of man’s social interaction and mental growth. Hence, different sociologists, define it different as;

But people who inter-relate and inter depend constitute a society. Hence, consideration of the fact that individual understanding and inter relations are important for society and its survival.

A company has over 1000 of employees, but the company is never called a society, ever wondered why so?

In the same company there are several departments, all those people are working together for the same reason to achieve a goal, in a same department but they are never called a society.

This is because they may be different in culture and civilization. While people who live together, work together and inter relate with culture and relationships are consistent to a society.

The above example clearly states that the presence of individuals is an essential feature of society. But just individuals do not make society. What makes society might be individuals but the fact that the possible associations and skills of co-operation and inter dependence they possess makes society what it is.
