. If sizes are more in number then buyer may ask to skip some sizes, called jump size set sample. The samples can be made in the sampling room or actual production floor, as required by the buyer. Bulk cutting of fabric for production should start only after size-set sample get approved. Once the buyer is satisfied with every aspect of it, they seal the sample and send it to the garment manufacturer as a symbol of understanding between them that the buyer is satisfied with the product and wants the manufacturer to make this product only in the bulk. These samples are called “Red sealed sample” and they are often used at the final inspection stages by the quality checkers representing the buyer. Then that bulk order is broken down into smaller but still bulk orders for the different stores to use. Some products are delivered straight from the suppliers warehouse to the store. They also make sure that the product isn’t damaged when received or sold to consumers.
The other problem people face with many other online clothing retailers is the inconvenience caused if they need to return a product. With our service, the customer does not pay the price for the product and has considerable amount of time to come to a decision as to whether or not to buy the product. This removes any remaining doubt in the customer’s mind and increases customer confidence levels.
The strengths of the book come from its’ accessibility. The book is easy to follow and provides readers with a great deal of information about the production of mass-manufactured clothing. As well as brings awareness to its’ many issues which we inadvertently take part in when we purchase such products. The book is well written and thoroughly researched but does have its’ share of weaknesses.
