For hundreds of years, the coconut, both fruit and tree (Cocos nucifera), has been a great source of versatility in life. This type of plant provides certain human necessities such as food, drink, clothing, shelter, raw materials, as well as income acquired from selling its products. These then contribute in addressing worldly problems that arise due to the changes happening in the environment that surrounds us. This plant has already been utilized by humans for centuries—assisting them in their work and day to day living. But today, it is already a common visual of dreamy relaxation and increasingly, it is now a symbol of health. The coconut is making a huge comeback as the new miracle food.
