Ignorance Should Be Taught In High Schools

When we are kids we are told if something bad is happening to you tell an adult or teacher. In some cases the person can’t because they are too scared to because they have lost trust in everyone. Sexaul harrasment tends to come before sexaul assualt. People tend to see how far they can go without being caught, and when someone gets in trouble they tend to say “I didn’t know”, that's called ignorance, that person lacks the knowledge to know what they are doing is wrong, and ignorance is bliss meaning that a person doesn't want to worry about anything that person would rather stay in there world where that person can do whatever they want. “complaints about sexual violence at colleges have increased more than 400 percent” . “Under the SaVE Act, an amendment to the Clery Act that became law in 2013.” Colleges funded federally are required to to teach about rape prevention. Which in high schools they teach in health class, that's if you take “actual health” and not summer school health. Summer school health only goes over it very briefly, and doesn't go into much detail as “actual health”. “The Supreme Court ruled in 1999 that federally funded schools are required to stop sexual harassment between students to maintain funding.” Schools will try to keep their image and they will say everything is fine. It's like if someone's trying to keep their parents figuring out that they have bad grades, that person tells their parents everything is fine, in order to keep there things like there phone, tv, door, room and board. But everything isn't, there failing three classes and they have no idea what’s going on in any of them. What this scenario is meaning is that schools will always try to keep and get more federal funding. There only going to tell you that they're working on it. When it comes to sexual assault in schools or anything the impacts the school negatively there going to try act like nothing's happening. But who it is to say that this is all wrong, and every student is out to sue the schools for every dime they have. It's just got to be a little bit of both, in this dog eat dog
