From a young age, I have always been drawn to aspects of healthcare, thriving on its central purpose of alleviating suffering and improving the lives of others. The encouragement boxes helped connect our community, by taking small letters of encouragement dropped in boxes anonymously, that would be given to addicts who are undergoing or struggling in treatment and could use a word of encouragement, showing they are not alone in this journey for sobriety. Having come from a family with a history of addiction, I recognize the profound challenges associated with this lifestyle. By engaging in simple acts to support individuals in recovery. I contribute to the betterment of my community, fostering a sense of collective involvement and assistance.
