First let me apologize for the delay in response due to hurricane Harvey and Irma inspections schedule.
Here are the answers to your questions;
1. In the storage room however, it’s noted that in the northwest side of the wall and ceiling there was evidence of rotted roof decking, was this the opening that allowed the wind driven rain to enter?
Answer: No there was opening observed through the rotted roof decking on the northwest side of the storage room at the time of inspection. There were no water marks observed under the rooted roof decking to substantiate that wind driven rain enter through that area of the roof. The deteriorated condition and discoloration of the rooted roof decking reflects that it has been rotted for years and not in

That is the ceiling the father has covered it up. There were water stains observed on the ceiling of southwest bedroom. Therefore, the ceiling of this bedroom was not damaged by wind driven rain.
2. The southeast bedroom displays the ceiling texture was peeling – please explain causation
Answer: The ceiling paint was not peeling due to moisture from roof leak. There were no water stains observed on the southwest bedroom ceiling. The ceiling paint could have peeled off due to the following reasons; a. It could peel off due the excessive moisture and high humidity from standing flood water in the house for days. b. Since the flooding the applicant's central air conditioner has not been turned on. Thus, increasing the relative humidity inside the house. This can be a contributing factor for ceiling paint peeling. c. The poor quality of paint could be another reason ceiling paint is peeling off.
We also had the policy holder report damages to the kitchen and living room – there is no mention of these rooms in the report. Can you please report on what damages were observed and causation as
...lling device, which was opened up usually in the summertime, the ceiling however was covered in fabric from wall to wall.
The paint does not have any visible signs of cracking like other oil paintings. It appears to be as vibrant today as it was when it was originally painted. A good example of this is the color of the chairs. The fuchsia is the first color are drawn to. From there the composition pops out at you. The king’s ruffled shirt shows Hirsch’s used of impasto. Impasto is a technique used in painting, where paint is laid on the canvas thickly enough that the brush or painting-knife strokes are visible.
Hurricane Harvey is located in Houston, Texas. It was the first major hurricane to make landfall in the United States since Wilma in 2005, ending a record 12- years period with no major hurricanes making landfall in the country. The sprawling and soaked Houston metro area and other deluge towns in southeast Texas braced for devastating floods and pummeling rainfall on Sunday as tropical storm Harvey stalled over land and drenched dogged searchers and anxious residents. Houston, Texas has set up shelters for people to stay out of the weather with good food, clean and fresh water, and dry, clean clothes. It is getting bigger and it has been confirmed that there will be more flooding close by to that area.
An additional assessment concern is roof flashing. Roof flashing is a line of defense against water leakage. Usually water flashing barriers are composed of a sheet of metal, galvanized steel or aluminum, that is positioned over the joints in the roof and wall construction to stop water from seeping inside the home. A frequent cause of significant water damage to a residence is malfunctioning roof flashing.

Harvey resulted in over eighty fatalities and over 150 billion dollars in damages. Several factors were to blame for this immense destruction. Varying weather patterns throughout the storm, the city structure of Houston, Texas, and no mandatory evacuation caused this devastation. In my opinion, people need to respect the natural land structure and ocean life, such as coral reefs. These structures play an important role in preserving our environment during natural disasters. People also need to take warnings seriously, such as the instance in which the Texas governor addressed the citizens in Houston to
It is also stated that she has never seen him alone. The storm starts to increase outside, reflecting the sexual tension inside. The storm's sinister intention appears when "The rain beat upon the shingled roof that threatened to break an entrance.". It seems that the storm knows what is going on between the two and is threatening to break in and ruin their chances. They move throughout the house and end up in the bedroom "with its white, monumental bed, its closed shutters, looked dim and mysterious.

Although filling and in-painting are separate procedures, they may be considered as highly related processes. They both contribute to the overall integrity of a treated painting. A simple definition for filling, in terms of painting conservation, is the process of ‘the sealing of damage to a picture layer by inserting a filler, that consists of smoothed down or structured substance’ (Nicolaus, 1999, p.235), whereas a filler is a ‘material used to replace missing areas of loss, usually in ground layer’ (The Fine Arts Conservancy, 2006). In addition, in-painting – usually called retouching as an alternative term – may be defined as ‘a restoration process to cosmetically re-establish colour and/or detail to losses in the paint layer; generally accomplished with pigment in an appropriate binding medium applied by brush’ (ibid). Nevertheless, one may find noticeable limitation for the use of the term in-painting in most of the literature while retouching is, so far, very common.
On early morning of August 29th, 2005 on the Gulf Shore near New Orleans, a devastating hurricane struck. It wrecked havoc, demolishing anything in its path. Leaving nothing but mounds of trash. The surviving people were forced to leave due to massive flooding and the destruction of their homes. New Orleans was not the only place hit by Katrina but it was one of the areas that was hit the hardest. Millions of people were affected by this tragedy and the cost range was up in the billions. Crime rates went up, no one had a place to stay and water was polluted. The damage done by Katrina affected New Orleans and the other areas hit years after it struck. Restoration for the areas hit was going to need support from all of America and support groups across the country. No one was ready for this tragedy or could ever predict the horrible outcome.
Katrina’s high-speed winds ripped roofs off of homes, knocked trees down into homes, and lifted homes from sturdy foundations. One example of how damaging the high winds were being that a casino in Biloxi was torn from its foundation and carried for two miles. For example, not only were homes ruined from high-speed winds but some were also ruined by water damage. Many people whose homes were ruined by flooding didn’t even have flood insurance. For example, my mother’s friend spent seven years working two jobs to be able to afford a place for her and her two children to live since her insurance didn’t cover flooding. Also, for those people who did have insurance, they had to live in Katrina cottages for several years’ before they were able to get a new house or damages
The house has not been nurtured in many years. In the description of the exterior of the house, the narrator explains that there is “discoloration,” “minute fungi,” and “extraordinary dilapidation.” (296) Due to the elongated isolation, there is a large crack in the front of the house, which foreshadows the disintegration of both the house and its residents. The details of the interior of the house
Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Louisiana as a ‘Category 2’ storm on August 25, 2005 with winds of 115-130 miles per hour that extended more than 100 miles from its center (Sparks 2008). Many watched in horror as it quickly became clear that the city’s 350-mile levee system, a federally-funded project built by the Army Corps of Engineers in the aftermath of the devastation of Hurricane Betsy in 1965, was not strong enough to defend against the encroaching floodwaters. Breach was inevitable. Within eighteen hours of Katrina’s impact, the city was almost entirely flooded under six to twenty feet of water and over 300,000 homes were destroyed (Sparks 2008). Devastation and heartbreak gripped every corner of the city, as it became increasingly clear that the federal, state, and local governments were severely unprepared to respond to a disaster as intense as Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent levee breach. In total, over one million people in Louisiana evacuated, and approximately 1,300 people perished as a result of the storm (Sparks 2008).
The artist guides the brush in a thin, black streak along the canvas, outlining the woman’s wrinkled forehead. As the color begins to fade, she swipes her paintbrush through a container of white paint. She looks shockingly at what she has done once the paintbrush has been lifted back to the line she had painted moments before. Looking down at her paints, she sees a splotch of gray that sits in the center of the white, only to be swallowed by the simple, pristine color. Her paints had been ruined. Or had they?
