For many of you in here you probably have or had a best friend you would take bullets for. So for this speech im going to talk about a person close to me who makes me feel the same. Her name is Kayla. Kayla and i met in October of 2016, through twitter. We both went to school with each other here at Loveland and were both in the marching band... i still had no idea who she was, but she sure knew me i shortly discovered after. Anyways, Kayla became my ride or die. I value many things about kayla but i most value her passion and love for others. I can see her passion for the X-Files show because i can't tell you how many times she has rewatched full episodes, scenes, 11 seasons, and 2 movies since she discovered the show. She may even cry and make you rewatch the same scene or episode 5 more times that you have absolutely zero interest in or the mind to understand what’s going on...but just be patient and cherish her compassion for the things she finds beautiful. Kayla has a strange but not so strange infatuation for Gillian Anderson. Over time i've learned to accept her infatuation because I believe that Kayla is a Gillian Anderson. Kayla told me that Gillian Anderson “helps others fight in what they believe in, help see life in an effervescent glow, and that sometimes grief is a necessary evil of life, but thats okay.” Kayla did this for me. She made my goals possible for me because she made me believe in myself, that i could and can be whoever i dream to be. Kayla is an individual you could spend your whole life trying to forget, kayla is a presence you cant ever replace, kayla has a personality you couldn’t compare to any other.
