Good evening everyone, I would like to thank you all for coming today to share in this special occasion. Thank you Stephen for his toast to the delightful bridesmaids, who look absolutely stunning. I would also like to congratulate the lucky couple, Stephen and Vanessa. Let me introduce myself to those of you who do not know me, I’m Ali and it is a pleasure to be standing here as Stephen’s best man. I met Stephen at High school in year 9. I had just moved schools so the teacher asked Stephen to show me around, it was through the tour that our friendship started to grow. Stephen has always been good with women, however the he has requested that I refrain from mentioning his past girlfriends for the sake of briefness. This cut the speech short by a good 10 seconds. I have known Stephen for 15 years now and to be honest, a man like him only comes around once in a life time. He was always the smartest kid, fittest and the friendliest kid in class. Now let’s see what else he told me to say. …show more content…
I recall one day we walked in through the class room door which was held open by a chair and half blocked the door way, and Stephen being Stephen instead of trying to walk around the chair and get by through the unblocked half, he tried to jump over it. Now we can all see where this is going, when he jumped, due to his height he hit his head on the top of the door way and fell down on the chair. He rolled for a good 3 metres before stopping, now at this moment everyone in the classroom was crying of laughter while Stephen was lying on the floor with a tomato red
So now I come to my final wedding day duty which isn’t a duty really – it’s a real pleasure: on behalf of the bridesmaids and myself I sincerely wish you, Daniel, and your lovely wife, Kim, everlasting love and happiness!
I’d like to begin by thanking the groom for asking me to be best man. I would also like to thank the bride for allowing him to ask me. The groom has a splendid set of friends, and to be nominated from such esteemed company is without doubt a great honor. Thanks also to the ushers, friends, and family who have all helped to make this day so special.
Best man 2 :Also, thanks must go to the beautiful bridesmaids, who did a fabulous job today getting the bride ready and making sure she didn't back out. So if you could please raise your glasses again. To the bridesmaids.
When Kyle first asked me to be his best man, I thought it would be a terrific honour,
Firstly, on behalf of the bridesmaids, I'd like to thank Mike for his kind words and reiterate how wonderful they look and what a fantastic job they have done today. I would also like to say that Sallie looks stunning - as I'm sure you'll all agree. Which really isn't that much of a surprise given we are related.
I met Rich at freshman orientation at Lynchburg College in August, 1975. My freshman orientation packet said that I was to meet with my group at my assigned table in the dining hall. After getting my dinner, I found the right table and sat down across from another freshman. There was no one else at the table. I think it was fate. After what seemed like a couple of minutes, a conversation started. We talked about our hometowns. He told me that his family lived in Manassas, but that most of his life was spent in Naples, Italy. As you all know, he was very proud of his Italian heritage. He was very proud of his life, family, and friendships in Italy. After awhile in this conversation, I asked him if knew anything about school sports. “I would like to run cross country,” I said. Well with that question, there was much to talk about. It did not take too long to realize that while I enjoyed running, for him, it was his passion.
quickly became a close friend. He shared his experiences working at summer camps and volunteering in
Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen - My name is Steve and this is my partner in crime, Scot. We are the best men today, famed for our double act. Some people may even say we were artists, but I think you'll all realize what kind of artists we are later on this evening.
As Father of the Bride, I am honored to be the first to speak this evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you on this joyous occasion. It is good to see so many friends and family here today to help celebrate Paula and Manson’s wedding. I would also like to remember those who have meant so much to our family, but could not be here today.
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. I would like to echo the groom's sentiments and mention that all the bridesmaids look truly beautiful, indeed.
Finally, on behalf of the bride and groom I would like to thank everyone for sharing their special day, it is a true millstone - sorry milestone in their lives. On behalf of myself I wish you'd all stayed at home - as things would have been a lot easier on me. I started planning this speech about 5 months ago and I expect you all feel like I've been delivering it equally as long. But now it gives me immense pleasure (not to mention relief) to invite you to all stand and raise your glasses in a toast to John and Angie. To love, laughter and happily ever after. To John and Angie CONGRATULATIONS
Good Evening! For those of you who don?t know me, I?m Charlotte, the very proud sister of our glamorous Bride. I want to start by congratulating Kari and Ernest, and thanking all of you for coming here today.
When it comes to Best Man's speeches there are some things in the interests of good taste, which are better left unsaid.....well, I'm here to say them!
I was afraid that he wouldn’t welcome this change in his routine that I was bringing, but he was extremely warm and polite; he had the amiable personality that makes anyone feel as though they could easily open up to him. As we start conversing, it is almost as if he wanted someone to come and talk with him.
And, on behalf of the bridesmaids, I’d like to thank Anthony for his kind words. I certainly agree that they did a great job today.
