Everyday someone's family member is moved into human trafficking for a profit.
Human trafficking is moving up in a fast rate and more than half time the criminal doesn't know how its happening. In many cases those who have been exploited believe that they are offenders. Trafficking also happens by telling victims to have sex and if they don’t do it they threaten to call the police for prostitution if they push back(When Sex Trafficking..).
Human Trafficking is very hard to get justice. Most of the time they don’t have any evidence it's just he said or she said stuff, so that won’t take them anywhere. Many local police don’t believe its a problem, but since between 2001 to 2007 there’s been a 360 percent increase in convictions compared to the seven years before. The U.S. government has pinpointed that this is a concern across the country. There's been a case where a women was carried over to least 7 states for sex trafficking. The women was sick of tired of being treat by these men, she had enough, but they couldn’t just get up and leave or they would of killed her, She didn’t have access to Facebook or anything. …show more content…

People will be getting drugged without knowing and be forced to do stuff that they wouldn’t do if they weren’t drugged up.
